Infection rate

What was the infection rate your doctor told you that there would be a possibility of getting an infection

One in I can't remember exactly 3 or 5 hundred. But I would suspect that was over a time he choose. And maybe not a life time average.
Injections failed. Implanted 3-21-18 AMS 700 LGX 21 + 1 RTE 100 cc reservoir 6.5" L 5" G Dr. Kramer.

Proximal Perforation Sling Repair 4/13/21 Dr. Broghammer

66 years young.

I looked through my pre-op notes from my appointments with my doctor, and I couldn't find anything about infections.

But as I recall, he told me the infection rate is low.

I was religious about following the instructions for cleaning myself before the operation to minimize the chances of infection. Of course, that annoyed my wife because I took some pretty long showers for a few days. :)

I was told less than 1%, but closer to 3-4% for diabetics.
34, Diabetic T2. ED since teenager. Scheduled for Titan implant June 2021
