My first successful session took only 7 pumps. That's all it would do. Before I stopped daily inflating I got up to nearly 40 full and partial pumps. After I stopped inflating except to use things shrank and now I'm back down to 22 or so for 80 percent. I stop when I feel tip pressure. If it doesn't work then I give it a few more.
The type of IPP and how you use it will determine how many pumps you need. And that changes as you do.

It takes anywhere from 65 to 80 pumps to max mine out. I don't understand why other men take so much less. I am very conscious of fully depressing the pump each time and i use the thumb over thumb approach to make sure I'm pumping fully. I know it not a size issue as my Coloplast reprehensive is implanted and is almost 10" in length. I'm no where near that but he said he only takes about 40 pumps to max out. The pump seems to be working properly and I can hear and feel it transferring fluid. I've wondered if it's not transferring as much as a pump normally does with each pump? Any ideas or any other guys pumping this much?

Not only do we not always squeeze the bulb the same, we don't always start out at the same spot. There is a variance in flaccid, you don't always get the same amount of fluid out of the cylinders when you deflate. So sometimes you start out with a partially pumped penis, so less pumps are needed.
Pump to what you are comfortable with that will do the job you need done, and have a good time

I'm 2 months post op. My pump is still hard...almost rock hard. I pump way more than 30, but the bulb is hard--full, but not my pecker! I'm trying to cycle 1-2 times a day. But even as much as I pump, I don't feel "stretched out". I'm not experiencing pain, not even discomfort. Any ideas, suggestions as to what might be going on?

.
I used a 106 degree hot tub when breaking mine in. The bulb is hard. I am a mechanic with strong hands. My doc had me pump it up at a 6 month visit. Then he literally cranked it sideways back and forth. That allowed it to stretch and not have so much pain when I pumped it up. I am 3 years out and still get pain if I pump it full.
