Cycling question about lopsided tubes

Postby WillyWonka22 » Sun May 02, 2021 6:24 pm

Cycling for the first time today, it’s quite uncomfortable as expected.. however, had a concern...

The right side seems to be more lumped up near the base, almost as if one side is longer and is bending due to extra “slack”

Is this normal and evens out with time?

I got my implant in early April and got an AMS LGX. I also had, and still kind of have, the same issue as you. The lump that I had seemed to be more in the center of my penis, but it’s barely noticeable now. I did have a little bit of discomfort in that area, but that’s almost all gone now too.
Implanted by Dr. Andrew Kramer
AMS LGX 21cm + 1.5cm rte
great results | great surgeon

I had lumps when deflated on both sides of my penis near the base, like there was a kink in the cylinder. You could actually see the one on the right side sticking out. Implanted 2/18/21 and have been cycling since 3/19/21. No pain and both lumps are now completely gone. Yours will probably resolve itself as well.

In implant surgery the cylinders are pulled up into the penis with suture's. A device is loaded with 2 straight needles with a long suture one end in each of them and the tip of the cylinder has the suture passed through it. The device is passed up through the corporal body into the glans and the suture needles fired or pushed through your glans and then the suture is used to pull the cylinder up to where it should be. Going down from the incision in your tunica is different. All that can be done is the RTE end pushed down or stuffed into the upper part of your Crus. The the surgeon inflates and has to try to work that end down. The cylinder can be twisted and have folds in it. Most of the time this is worked out in the OP by the doctor but sometime this will have to be resolved with cycling. And sometimes this will be present for as long as the cylinder is in place. Sometimes even after these are worked out a bit of scar tissue remains. You may want to call your doctor about this and have the doctor take a look.

I hope this helps a bit. Best of luck going forward with this.

Thank you and that sounds very similar to the right side. It wasn’t noticeable until I was cycling for the first time, so I’m sure it’s nothing major and will resolve itself :)
