It's happening! I'm going to be joining the ranks

Postby Griffin » Thu Apr 29, 2021 4:52 pm

Firstly, sorry there's no signiture. My phone doesn't give me the option and my daughter uses my laptop for her A-levels. 41, ED going on a couple of years, diagnosed excessive Peyronie's, sent away to do some time on PEDs and tumessance. Didn't help. No curvature but lost an inch girth under glans

So, it took some time bouncing around urologists here in England but I eventually I got to the man. I went for my follow up today at the end of my wits, armed with notes, measurements and a speach lol. My urologist just said 'yeah you need an implant'
Crikey! I thought I was going to have a battle and leave with injections.
They aren't mega volume here in Nottingham but 3rd busiest in the country.

The hundreds of hours on here gave me invaluable knowledge and sent me we'll informed.
He explained that the NHS havnt let them perform implants since March 20 and there will be 10 men or so ahead of me when they practice again on the list but still.... I floated to my van a happy boy :D
I'll pass my knowledge on as I go as you all did for for us.

Congratulations. Having 10 or so in front of you will be a good thing after over a year of none is a good thing I would think. Give the doctor some cases to knock the rust off so to speak. Best of luck going forward with this.

Keep at it Viaswiss, you'll get there. My insurance didn't cover me either so I'm very lucky to have the NHS. Good luck.

Thanks newbie443. I like your thinking, I wouldn't want to be the first
Hope your enjoying your LGX. My urologist doesn't tend to use them he seems to think that they are for larger cases?? Basically he said he uses whatever he can get from our NHS but mostly uses AMX 700 CX models.

UK here, just got word that I'll be going ahead here too.
I'm writing more to remind myself to respond more in the morning.

There were delays due to lockdown up in Scotland too. They are trying to get through the patients as best they can. Things are moving quicker than ever. The NHS is great when they are allowed to do their jobs!

Posititive news all round then guys. And positive days are few and far between with Ed as you know. Good to hear some of you have dates although, nervracking I bet.
I look forward to following your experiences and wish you all the luck in the world.
Always good to hear from other UK guys too LeRoastbeef. We'll be walking around with our implants in no time I'm sure.
Personally, I've been told I have to go back soon for an injection to 'see what we are working with' as he put it. Then I suppose it all hangs on the pandemic.
