Wow you have great girth going into this, nearly 7 inches? Haven't seen that on anybody else that hadn't had girth enhancement. Your dick was made for a Titan. Don't worry, that thing is going to be nice and hard for you, I can guarantee it. I have the AMS LGX, and it can get very useably hard, although it does have a slight bit of give to it, but definitely sufficient for topping, and the Titan is WAY more stiff than the LGX. You're going to think when fully pumped it may be TOO hard even.

Thank you, OregonStrong. I hope you're right. I do enjoy having some girth, for visual effect, if nothing else, but I feel no need whatsoever to get any thicker. All I want is to get and stay hard, and without having to stick needles in my dick.

Thank you for your support, cbinspok! I plan to take some final pre-op pics tomorrow, for the sake of future comparison. (As if I don't have enough pics of my cock already.)

Two days before surgery

I’ve reread all the pre- and post-op instructions, and watched all Dr. Eid’s instructional videos on the internet, to make sure I’ve not missed anything. Stay flat on your back in bed for the first two days, icing as needed. Start taking hot baths on the third day and inflate the implant while in the hot water -- but only inflate it if you’re 100% sure that you will be able to deflate it! Well, how the fuck am I going to be 100% sure of that?! It’s not like I’ve had a penile implant before. Yeah, I know, he says that you have to be certain that you can locate the deflate button, using the model he’s given you as a reference. I get that part. But even if I can find the button (with 100% certainty!), I still won’t be 100% certain that I can really deflate. What if I press the button and nothing happens? What if my hands are not strong enough? What if I somehow misunderstood exactly how to press it? What if there is manufacturing defect and Coloplast will issue a recall a week later?

So 100% certainty is not going to happen. I will settle for, oh, let’s say 90%, and if it turns out I can’t deflate the damn thing (assuming I even succeed in inflating it), then I’ll just make use of Dr. Eid’s cell phone number, which he provides to all patients, and tell him to deal with it. It really is a great comfort that he promises to promptly return calls to his cell phone, 24/7. I would have hated if the instructions said: If you have a medical emergency outside of office ours, call 911, and best of luck!

I wish I could take the full week off from work, or even a week and a half, rather than just Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. I find it a little hard to focus on work right now, having my dick and its future to tend to. But only a week ago, I was told I’m being considered for a new position. It’s not a promotion in the formal sense, but it would lead to interesting new challenges, and I really want it. I ought to be proactive and show initiative right now, or at least not drop any balls.

It will probably be okay. The office culture is pretty good. Sick time is respected, and you’re not expected to always be reachable and answer emails late at night. I just wish I had a little more time to fully dedicate to my healing, without even having to think about work.

If you CAN take a full week off work, I would do it. I have to stand most of the day with my job, but even sitting, there was so much swelling that would occur in the penis being upright, the first week especially. It wasn't pain that limited me, but the feeling and appearance of the swelling that bothered me being upright.
