Revision 1 post op 7 days

Postby Biker60 » Fri Apr 16, 2021 11:03 pm

I am 7 days post op from my revision. In the 13 months I had the Titan I went from 18cm to 20cm. But I had a Titan narrow because of PD. Now I have a regular Titan and so far it’s healing well. Pain is less. Much less. My only issue is the drain incision is still scabby . I don’t think the incision site can close that rapidly since it is above the swelling. I would say that is my only issue. Down to Tylenol or Motrin once a day. Such a difference compared to 1st implant. After 13 months of the 1st Titan, there was no scar tissue present. All signs of PD, internally are gone. I credit that to the implant and frequent cycling. Maybe too frequent, since it broke after 13 months.

Great to hear it is going well and thanks for sharing. How often did you cycle and do you think that is why it failed? Thanks!

I always had a pain in the left groin. When inflated a tubing would get hard and could
Be seen. I think tube broke at the area from
Between reservoir and left cylinder. Surgeon reported that defective unit was removed and completely replaced. Defective unit was handed over tho rep that was at the surgery.

Best advice I can give is what was told to me,,, the surgeon said no matter what, if it's given enough time to heal there should be a scar capsule forming, some longer healing time than others,, make sense,, but they should tell a person the 3 week waiting before cycling is just a base line,, most take longer internally to heal before any aggressive inflating or cycling.
After 4 Titan IPP failures within 4 years I finally wised up and went to the Malleable Genesis 23cm- 13mm implanted 2-1-24 and no regrets so far.
For those that are asking, I'm going to change the wifeys avatar weekly.

If you still have scab on the incision leave it alone or else what is going to happen if you start cycling or inflating to the max, the stitches are going to break and the incision will reopen. It happened to me and the thing is they will not stitch it again. They will just give you some antibiotic ointment and just apply a small film on the area and let it heal up again. The scab this time will be a little bigger, but it will heal up. That happened to me on my first revision. That revision only lasted ten months and the MS pump quit working, so I had a third revision and the specialists was suppose to change just the pump, but when I woke up from the surgery, the surgeon said he had to pull the cylinders further into the gland, about half an inch and make up the length with rte's at the base of the cylinders. He done a fantastic job on the third revision. My penis looks about as normal as it used to be before implants. Got my full length of eight inches and I believe my girth is around 5.75. But I had that length before implants. If the doctor uses the internal measuring devices that come with the kit, you should get exactly what you had before. There is no way they will install a longer cylinder then what the measurement gives them. But some surgeons where they messed up on my first revision was they did not pull the cylinders to where the tips are little past center of the gland. I love the job he done, but I still worry and hope it does not fail anymore. Because I am getting up in age and if it fails again, not sure I would want to have another revision. I recovered really fast on the second revision, after four weeks the surgeon gave me the green light to use it. I still waited six weeks.
