Leaving the hospital as I type this.

Procedure went well and nerves are gone. Slight discomfort, but nothing that can’t be managed. Just excited to get home and lay down.

Originally the doc had me signed up for an AMS 700 LGX, but he said that due to my size, he had to go with the AMS 700 CX (24cm x 12mm).

Will post any relevant updates and am willing to answer any questions you may have, if I can!

Congratulations buddy. I hope you get many many years of use out of it.
70 year old, Married 53 years with two adult children.
Tried pills, herbs, and Trimix. Implanted by Dr. Hakky , in Atlanta, on the 1st, of September. Titan XL 24cm's with two 1.5cm"s RTE"s

Lay flat as you can and use cold paks. Helps a bunch with swelling and being able to pee. Welcome to the brotherhood.
Injections failed. Implanted 3-21-18 AMS 700 LGX 21 + 1 RTE 100 cc reservoir 6.5" L 5" G Dr. Kramer.

Proximal Perforation Sling Repair 4/13/21 Dr. Broghammer

66 years young.

Will show and tell and talk with others.

Thank you for the advice! I can definitely tell that once this nerve block comes out, I’m gonna be feeling this pretty good.

I plan to make a separate thread with my daily updates too. All advice is very much appreciated!
