Revision tomorrow

Postby Biker60 » Thu Apr 08, 2021 6:03 pm

Well more nervous about the revision then the original surgery. Infection rate is higher, fear that I will need another revision again. I do have a question. When you had a revision, was the new implant longer in length.? I am doing the Titan again. But not using the genesis pump. What was the difference between Titan touch and one touch. Thanks Mike

Good slick! Who’s doing your surgery? I have had several revisions and each time the implant was longer in length. I have had a Titan ever time. The revisions I’ve had have been less painful and faster recovery.
Revision 2/13/24 Dr Tariq Hakky, Atlanta (Great Doctor) Titan 24XL no Rte’s. I’m 62 married. I have had numerous revisions due to product and body failures. Always had a Titan ipp.

Why worry about it. If it breaks fix it.

The day the doc says nope. Then worry about it. I sure will not. This thing breaks. Fix it.

Do not care.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.
