New sensations

Postby Masonjames » Sun Mar 28, 2021 10:30 am

I am approaching 7 months form my surgery date and last night I had a new experience. I was pumped up and waiting for my wife to come to bed. I lay there and was fantasizing about what was to come. I began to squeeze my pelvic muscles and made my erection jump. When I released the muscles there was a pulsing sensation and it was very pleasant. This is the first time I had felt that my erection was more like the natural ones use to be.
Have any of you guys had experiences where your sensations have improved with time? Has your connection with the implant improved over time?
I felt like my erection was being assisted by the implant instead of the implant being the only source. Anyone else felt this way?

I'm at 2.5 years since surgery. For the first year or so, things felt different just due to the new equipment. It was mostly pleasant - bigger, fuller, more "pendulous". But with arousal I felt most everything was the same. I'd get excited, feel that tingling that leads to arousal, etc. The only difference was the erection mechanism. I still miss the feeling of getting hard naturally instead of needing to pump.

If I got excited the head would engorge some, but no life from contracting muscles, etc. I remember what it was like to have your dick bounce up and down when you use the pelvic muscles, but it didn't happen for me after the implant. In addition, my dick felt hard as I wanted it to be with as many pumps as I wanted, but didn't feel "fuller" from arousal.

For the past year or so, however, I have had a little of that coming back. I often wake up with a full/chubby feeling again. It's not much, but it seems to be more than just a normal flaccid feel. Of course, an implants flaccid is much stiffer than the old me. It may just be imagination, and it isn't like I get a chubby. In addition, when I'm inflated, I now have some movement when I clench. Again, not much, and not like our bouncy youth. I don't get any "pulsing" sensations like you describe.

I hope this all continues for you. I love the implant and would do it again in a heartbeat, but there are some things I miss. Still, it's so much better than how I was after years of ED that there is no comparison.

Thanks for your reply. I hope thing continue to improve for you also. We all heal differently so we're all going to be different.
I don't think the chubby in the morning is your imagination at all. I've woken up feeling fuller myself. No hard on but fuller for sure.

I have found that I can do kegels to force-engorge my spongiosum and glans but it doesn't go beyond a certain semi-rigid level. I believe I have severe venous leak (not diagnosed) that limits my engorgement but I do get my entire penis engorging even prior to inflation and it will plump up, get very warm and round and somewhat chubby. The fact that even with the cylinders occupying my tunica, I can still engorge and feel the hotness of my dick at times when I get excited is a blessing to me even though I know not everyone will experience that.

I discovered the kegel maneuver to both force-engorge my glans and shaft, and to make my PC muscles "POP" my dick up and down quite early on in my journey. It was probably a couple of months after surgery that I found that flexing my PC muscles could make my dick bounce. It wasn't until I was INSIDE my wife that I discovered when she reacted to it that flexing my PC muscles while staying still (not thrusting) was actually something she could feel inside her, the feeling of my dick swelling almost like I was cumming.

Thanks, Waynetho. I've actually noticed some of the same. I need to experiment a little more. I used to do kegels all the time before the implant. Might add to the sensations and enjoyment to work on. I'm happy with what I'm getting now, and this could make it even better.

Yes it does seem to be more sensitive with time. I'm 1 1/2 years out now have been getting different sensations. Some mornings I'll wake up with the sensation of having a morning woody. Sex is getting better and better. The tip of my penis has definitely gotten more sensitive lately.
The answer may be nerve regeneration. It takes a long time for nerves to re-grow or re-activate after trauma.

I'm now just a little shy of 11 months post-op and for the VERY FIRST TIME since my implantation I was able to orgasm and ejaculate with my loving and patient wife of 38 years from a hand and blow job!!!! Yahoo!!! Then I pumped up to 90% and she rode me hard to multiple orgasms. Tonight I finally enjoyed the beauty of an implant in being able to cum and then still be fully erect afterward for intercourse. Right now I'm one very happy camper!!! :D

THAT IS AWESOME NEWS BARRYLONDON!!!

I'm sure I'm not the only who's happy to read this.

I know you've been searching for solutions for a long time, and experienced a lot of frustration.

Congratulations! And I hope it improves even more as time continues.

Thanks for your congratulations, frwmw1, and for following my posts. I realize that my sharing of disappointments about failed interventions for treatment of my post-surgical anorgasmia over the past 11 months might have caused some uneasy feelings about implantation so I posted my success of last night not to brag but to restore confidence among those of you contemplating this permanent solution for ED. I'm hopeful that the results of my sexual activity last night is not just a one off deal but the next (final?) step of my implantation journey!
