I don’t explain to anyone. A very close few know what I had surgery for, other than that I couldn’t give a crap.

I don't tell the general public or friends but having to have had some medical procedures. If someone asked me I would tell them and would help another guy, who's having problems. It's impossible not to tell the staff of the hospital about the procedure.
I don't care anymore and just say "I have a Penile prothesis" They don't bat an eye . It's not a big deal. Just another body part that needed repair. No regrets I love my Implant and the sex It allows me to have.

Or, "Yeah, I was in Pamplona for the running of the bulls and was so impressive to Carlos (one of the bullfighters) that he invited me be a guest bullfighter. Long story short, I was not as good as he thought I could be....and I don't wanna talk about what happened next."

I love this! Being only nine days post-op, I haven't yet have any reason to decide what I want to tell sex partners, but after trying to hide my ED my entire adult life, I'm leaning towards being pretty upfront with the truth. I'm tired of lying, and now that I'm no longer impotent, I don't think it will embarrass me all that much that I once was.

But then again, the boring truth a bit of a downer, so I might decide to tell fantastical stories like these instead. It would be like a humorous way of saying: "Why the hell would you care why I got the implant. All that matters it that it works. Now, let's fuck."

I've told some outright that I have an inflatable implant, "down there" and sometimes I get further questions to clarify, at which I state that it's an inflatable penile implant so I can become erect. Then if I feel the need I will explain (truthfully) that I received the implant to repair damage I sustained over twenty years earlier (the beginnings of Peyronie's disease due to improper use of a ligature).

Most recently the subject came up to the 60ish male next-door neighbor of my girlfriend. After he understood what I was saying and the scope of what it was for, he jokingly said, "Sign me up!"
