Hi!
Can I ask you what was your bone pressed size before surgery?

How about some pictures, with a 24 it has to be nice.

Appreciate your interest. I'll consider it. As for size, I haven't inflated fully yet, let alone cycled, so it's not looking too nice at the moment. Hopefully, three months from now will be a a different story.

Between 7 and 7.25 inches. Keep in mind that doesn't equate to any particular implant size. Depends on the individual. For example, 9 cm of out my implant's 24cm are inside my body. So that leaves 15 cm to the mid glans. I might get 17 cm (6.7 in.) to the tip, if my glans engorgement returns at some point. I'll almost certainly end up losing some length.

My old dick is gone forever. Considering it didn't work, I'm not shedding any tears!

Day 8 Post-Op

Tried cycling yesterday. It didn't go as well as I hoped. While I was able to easily find the deflate button and deflate completely, I could only get 4 or 5 five pumps in before the pain in my scrotum became overwhelming. I am clearly still too swollen/inflamed. Will take it easy this weekend, ice and try again on Monday.

Some additional observations:

Deflating completely resulted in the "flat penis" that many men have described. It really does look like it got pancaked by an out of control SUV. Fortunately, just one full pump improved the appearance enough to make my implant almost visually undetectable. That's encouraging since I believe I will always need one pump to lock the valve.

I think as time goes by and my scrotal swelling decreases, my Titan will hang down perfectly fine, or at least be malleable enough to be worn pointing down.

I misunderstood how to take one of my medications--Ketorolac (for inflammation). I was supposed to take it every six-eight hours until it was gone. However, I was just taking it as needed. I now wonder if my failure to do so is why my scrotum is still so painful. I got another prescription for it and will do it right this time.

Dear NiO,
Real glad to have read your post. I just had a revision done by Dr. Hakky yesterday (3-25) and also was prescribed the Ketorolac. The script said it was for pain, as needed up to 4x per day.
Dr. Hakky did my original implant and I did not receive this then. The info sheet I received from the pharmacy was a little intimidating, so I decided to leave these on the shelf for now.
Having read your comments and doing a little more research, I decided to take the pill at a rate of 2x per day for 4 days. Swelling was one of the more troublesome conditions I had to overcome the first time and many here will echo that comment.
Anyway, I am sporting the identical equipment you have and looking forward to a fast recovery.

My best to you.

Mike

Day 14 Post-Op

Feeling much better. Very little discomfort or pain at this point (at least deflated--more on that below). Bruising is starting to fade, but still pretty bad. Honestly, it was ugly before. It looked like I got kicked in the nuts by a horse! The worst thing at this point is probably the itching! For whatever reason my scrotal skin and the surrounding area is very itchy. I don't think it can be chalked up to hair regrowing--I've experienced that before without itching. Hopefully, this will abate soon.

The good news from today is that I was able to start cycling. My scrotal swelling came down quite a bit over the past few days. I've been taking anti-inflammatories, wearing compression shorts, and icing when I can, but time is probably the main reason for this.

As for the cycling, I got around 12 full pumps in and stayed inflated for 30 minutes. It was quite painful but bearable. I could have gone longer but didn't want to overdo it. My erection angle looks good, maybe even better than pre-implant (it was 3:00 o'clock before). Length is about 6 inches and girth about 5 inches. This is down from 7 and 5.5 pre-surgery. I think I'll get most of it back as my surgeon said my implant should require 30 to 40 pumps to fully inflate and I'm at just 12 right now. Today's measurement was also without any glans or spongiosum engorgement. Fortunately, it looks like when aroused, I am going to maintain what I had pre-surgery in this area.

I will say that I'm a little concerned by the shape of my penis at this stage. It is super flat and the cylinders are pretty obvious to my eye. I'm hoping as things loosen up and with arousal, that things will round out a bit. I've also noticed that while my erection is straight (pre-surgery fibrosis and slight hourglassing are completely gone), it is also leaning a bit to the left, like a boat that is overweight on one side. Straightening it with my hand hurt quite a bit. When erect, the right tip is slightly further into my glans than the left. No RTEs here and same cylinder size on both sides, so this is probably due to my anatomy being unbalanced rather than the implant. Hopefully, these issues will mitigate over time or at least not cause problems.

Looking forward to further progress in the days ahead!

I think this is common dermatitis from the scrotum being stretched to a point it's not used to. I had a similar issue on my scrotum and even had dry scaly skin at the bottom of the scrotum where the pump was. Once you're at a point where you're healed (7-14 days), you should be able to start using lotion on the scrotum to alleviate any dermatitis and dry scaly skin that makes it itch. Ask your doctor if it's okay.

Thanks for posting this Wayne. I am experiencing pretty much exactly what you describe. An area in the bottom front of my scrotum near the pump is thickened, a bit scaly and seems to have lost its ability to stretch. It's kind of freaking me out so I'm glad I'm not the only one that has had this issue. I've been putting some lotion on it. Did it resolve in time?

Yes, I'm not sure when it resolved as it was quite some time back, but I'm 17 months out now and my scrotum is normal now other than stretching out when it's loose. The skin is soft and supple now.

Day 18 Post-op

Well guys, in the last few days I must admit that the "what have I done?" feeling that so many men describe has begun creeping in.

Logically, I understand that it is still way too early to draw any conclusions about my result. But on an emotional level, looking at the flattened shape of my inflated penis disturbs me. The fact that my current boner looks far less round than so many of the implanted penises that I've seen pics of is cause for concern.

I got a Titan XL mainly because I was long - 7 inches +. But I was also pretty narrow - between 5 and 5.5 inches in girth. I'm afraid I don't have enough natural tissue to ever be round at the width the XL is stretching me out to. Right now, my dick looks like two sharpies with skin stretched over them. I can even feel the groove between the cylinders on the top. I'm wondering if a CX would have been better. They come in 24 cm as well, right?

On top of this, I have developed some kind of weird swelling in my scrotum, surrounding the pump. Feels like a water balloon. It's getting bigger. Maybe a hydrocele? Pretty sure it's not an infection as I have no redness, minimal pain, and my incision still looks good.

Will see my local uro in a few days. Hopefully, it's nothing major.

Nobody said it would be smooth sailing! All I can do is keep pressing on and see what happens I guess.

Very interesting commentary on the titan's girth, that's the first time I have ever heard someone suggest that the titan may be too much girth for their anatomy. I have even less girth than you at about 4.8" and was hoping the titan would help increase that some. Never considered the "sharpie effect" but hopefully it'll be worth it to have a chance at getting better girth. Please keep updating us as you progress!!
