Day 21 Post-op

I think my last post was a bit of a pity party. Not gonna lie--feeling depressed at being unable to work out and the reality that this is going to be a long recovery. It's one thing to read those words, but quite another to go through it yourself!

As I continue to cycle, the rigidity at which I can achieve engorgement is increasing. When I get this engorgement, my girth measures at 5.25 inches. Length is recovering as well, maxing out at 6.75 inches for the time being. If this positive trend continues, I might end up losing nothing size wise.

The swelling in my scrotum is not getting better but it doesn't seem to be getting any worse either. Local uro said it might take months to go away completely. It's definitely better when I wake up in the morning, so lying down appears to help. My initial post-surgery scrotal swelling was pretty much gone before I got this fluid build-up I'm dealing with currently. I think it started after I began cycling at 2 weeks post-op. Definitely wasn't healed completely and the pumping could be irritating things. Nonetheless, I don't want to stop stretching things out, as regaining size is important to me.

One last word on the cycling--it hurts! A lot! Most of the pain comes from my right cylinder which is probably due to the fact that my right corpora is a bit smaller than the left. It's definitely stretching things out. I really hope in a few months I will look back and feel that this was all worth it!

I had the swelling for almost 6 weeks, maybe because I didn't use ice at all. Lying down definitely reduces the swelling. I noticed the same when I used to wake up in the morning. My penis looked huge in girth with swelling daytime, after sitting and walking around for long hours.
Cycling still hurts after more than 2 and 1/2 months, when I pump more after 3pm angle. But pain goes away in 3 or 4 minutes. Everything looks good for you. Nothing to worry about!

I find it hilarious that you guys are discussing having 5.5" girth and saying Titan is pushing you guys to the max. I have 4.5" girth and Titan really maxes me out in terms of girth. Sometimes with proper engorgement, I get 4.6" girth. Perhaps one day after 2-3 years, I can look down and hope for 4.75" girth. I have been very happy with Titan, it has a small pump and everything is nice so far. Titan is really good, initially, when the pain is there, everything feels like it's gonna explode with pain when pumped to the max but a few months down the road, the pain goes away and the girth looks nice and it becomes the new normal.

Yes, this has improved a bit with the level of engorgement I am currently able to achieve. I haven't tried Cialis or cock rings yet, which may also help. In the end, though, I will probably never be as round as I was pre-implant. That is just something I will have to work on accepting.

This is a good question and something I was pretty concerned about before my surgery, given all the complaints about the Titan "flaccid." However, it really hasn't been an issue for me. Admittedly, I'm not going out a lot at the moment. But, the times I have, nobody has even so much as glanced at my crotch. It just isn't that noticeable. I think I could already be wearing my penis pointed down in tight underwear if it weren't for the stitches still in my scrotum. Of course, things are not as flexible as with a natural penis and I definitely have the "dog ears" many men experience. But, once I'm totally healed, I don't think I'll worry about it.

It makes sense that you feel that way. I think what I said was premature and probably born out of a little frustration with the pace of my recovery. It's just too early for me to think about anything being maxed out. I should just keep my mouth shut on the sizing front and report back in three months! (Easier said than done :D)

Day 27 Post-op

It's been four weeks since my surgery and I wanted to take stock of my current situation. Here are the pros and cons at this stage:

Pros

- The implant works. I can already tell it will make me harder than I've ever been.
- Cycling is getting easier. I got 20 full pumps in last night for the first time. I still have quite a bit of pain when fully inflated but not as much as before. Pumping doesn't hurt at all at this point.
- I can now confidently say that having the implant did not negatively affect glans engorgement whatsoever.
- My erection angle is good--at minimum it is straight out (3:00) and seems to go higher the more I pump.
- My reservoir and tubing are not visible to the naked eye despite being very lean.
- The skin in my genital area is basically back to normal--no bruising, discoloration or cuts. Incision looks good and dissolvable sutures are starting to break down.
- My Titan hangs at about 5:00. I think this will move further down once my scrotal swelling goes away. I wear it up and it's not noticeable to other people.
- Implant does not affect ability to orgasm. If anything, it's more intense!

Cons

- While my final size is TBD, I'm currently .25 inches smaller in girth and length.
- Penis shape is very flat. This improves slightly with engorgement, but because I have severe VL, if I wanted to just relax and fuck with no cock rings or kegeling, I would be doing it with what one Aussie brother described as a "flat cricket bat." I may consider other procedures to mitigate this if it doesn't improve.
- Erection is straight out but tilts to the left. This is new. I keep trying to model it when cycling but it doesn't seem to be doing anything just yet.
- Swelling around the pump is still very prominent. I don't really know why this is, but it is taking it's sweet time to go away. Makes my scrotum look and feel weird.
- The reservoir and tubing are very easy to feel if you know where they are--again, I'm lean.
- Still numb underneath from my incision up to about one inch below my glans.

Overall, I'm very pleased with my decision at this point. The size and shape issues may resolve in time. Swelling and numbness are probably time issues as well. Regardless, I'm already better off than I was a month ago.

Hey, man!
You're basically 1 week ahead of me! :D

I also have this swelling in my scrotum, but it's not around my pump. It's around my deflate button. I think it's because it takes a good amount of force to press it. However, I'm aware of infection possibilities, so I keep my eyes wide open.
Like you, there's no redness neither skin attached. It's just a thick skin inside.
Hope everything gets better for us!

1.5 Months Post-op

I'll wait a few more weeks before posting an overall update, but have a few anecdotes I wanted to share.

1. Dealing with the Titan "flaccid"

When folded up or down, both of my cylinders kink at the base. The material just isn't flexible enough to avoid this. I've been cycling for over a month now and nothing has really changed. I'm hopeful there will be improvement going forward, but I can live with the kinks as long as they eventually don't cause any discomfort. Right now, they hurt and are pretty annoying. I'm constantly pushing them in, but they just pop right back out.

The only thing that I have found that helps is totally deflating. If I put even one pump in to lock the valve, I find it makes things noticeably more uncomfortable/less flexible.

Totally deflated, my dick hangs almost straight down, and will actually adopt the curved contour that you would expect when wearing tight briefs. The kinks are still there, but not as noticeable. It doesn't look good, but who cares when it feels so much better!

2. Dealing with Scrotal Swelling

I was desperate to reduce the swelling in my scrotum. I felt like had a lemon in my sack in addition to my two testicles. It was definitely a build-up of fluid. I tried ice and anti-inflammatories but nothing changed.

I did a little research and found that horse chestnut seed extract is often used for edema and swelling in the legs. I thought "what the heck, I'll try it."

I don't have any scientific evidence that it was responsible, but I can honestly say that after I started taking it (and gave up on icing/anti-inflammatories), the swelling started getting better in a matter of days and is now totally gone.

good tip Nothingisover Horse chestnuts -who knew,,, We are about the same time wise, My nuts were very swollen also and still are a bit, for the most part they are normalizing. Its because of this I was able to discover my pump is fused to my scrotum in the very bottom right side with the right testicle sort of "stacked" on top of the pump. I go in Friday for check and will discuss w Dr the issue. Like you- other wise its going well. I'm pretty happy with the Lgx, it limps out to 5:30 ish with just tiny "dog ears" and at full erection it stands at 2:30, I've been able to get back 1/2 inch so far and hoping to get another inch this coming year. Hopping I didn't get an undersized implant and I bottom out before I can reach for the max. So still have some fears moving forward but beginning to trust and internalize all these new parts.
cheers Bro
