Jackstrop small or large

So i hear some guys advising wearing a jockstrap after surgery to hide the bulge and keeping everything in place.

I'm shopping for a jackstrop but don't if i should go for a smallere larger size.

Any advise? Thanx!

Immediately post-op, you will have a volume of bandages in place. So, larger will accommodate that extra padding. Also, there will probably be some swelling.

On the other hand, come slight compression will keep the swelling minimized. I also found the compression helped reduce shifting around, which can hurt a bit.

I would get one size larger and one normal size. Maybe two of each, so you can switch out when one gets soiled (there may be some blood leakage to deal with.)

That is overkill, of course. But easier to have what you need on hand and they are cheap enough. My hospital gave me one when I left.

This will depend on your doctor. I was given discharge instructions to wear a Jockstrap for maybe 3 days post op. The one I had on when I came out of surgery was stained with the red yellow prep stuff and my discharge instructions also instructed not to shower for a period or time. And no baths for a really long time. I was to un wrap the compression bandage after I was back in my hotel room. I had a clean Jockstrap with me but used the one from the surgery until my first shower then put the clean one on for the rest of the instructed time. Then switched to tight briefs. After I returned home and researched this I found that another member a few years earlier had posted my doctor had told him not to wear one once back in his room because of risk of inverted pump. Best thing to do though is follow your doctors orders. And they do differ a lot.

How big is your Sack should come into the equation. I'm small, tight. There wasn't anything to pull up. A 1 size smaller pair of briefs worked for me.

I was left pumped 80% for healing. It was super painful to have anything touching it. I was retired and layed around with my dick sticking out all the time for 4 weeks.
