Does anyone know or had experience with Dr Andrew Kramer from University of Maryland? I am scheduled for surgery Dec 19th. I will also admit I have looked at Dr Montague from Cleveland Clinic for 12K. That is hard to believe but true.

Use the search function in this implant forum and search for "Kramer".

I did but there are not many posts for Kramer. I emailed a private message to one member who saw him but never got a response. He is a big player out of University of Maryland Medical Center. He seems to be a very nice person with good accessibility. It is hard to find someone who personally emails you back. Would love to talk to someone who has had personal experience with him and the facility.

I would add the Urologist who did my implant surgery to the recommended list. Dr. John Greisman in Encinitas, California (a suburb just north of San Diego.) He has been my Urologist for 15 years and also did my open abdomen partial prostectomy for BPH 9 years ago. He is very caring and very cautious. He has been doing penile implants for 30 years and said he has done about 1000 of them. He said due to the techniques he has developed to prevent infections his rate of infections is down to 0.5%.

Baltimore: I have had Dr. Marc Siegelbaum (with Chesapeake Urology Associates) as my uro for quite a few years. He is a well-respected doctor who has done plenty of penile implants, including mine (in 2002, no problems). I also had him do my prostatectomy (after a PCa diagnosis) in 2001 and a vasectomy several years before. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Dr. Rafael carrion of Tampa is an excellent choice however the chances are you won't actually do your surgery so you might want to consider that. He examined me and told me what went wrong with my surgery from the guys I had do it in Melbourne Florida. I would suggest that you go to Ed cure.com and click on find a surgeon but the problem there is that the losers I went to are listed on Ed cure but none of the winners in my area are. I don't know what's up with that but I believe dr. Carey and is listed on there. I guess if you don't pay edcure dues then you don't get your listing. at any rate good luck
