Driver, hang in there, Every one of us gets it — weather we had one time perfect out comes or complicated revisions we all know depression is always lurking around. We are sending strength and endurance to battle forward.
Hang in there man.

I have been over 3 years with mine but not as many surgeries. That really sucks. Most likely if I were using local doctors if they did do reoperations for repairs I would have had the same or worse results. So I do feel for you and have had the thought of waiting until Medicare so I can go anywhere I want to a really good doctor. But I have not thought of giving up altogether. This is a part of me I want back. And from the post you have made it seems to be you do also. I would be at my doctors office and insisting for another date scheduled for a proper repair. If they cannot do that then insist on being sent to a really good doctor that can. Sucks to have to wait and all the lost time for having a good sex life. But we cannot change what has happened. All we can do is work to get this back. Hang in there and make a plan. I had a plan A, B, and C. I am on plan B and looking to be on plan C. If I don't die first I am going to make this happen. You can to.

Best of luck to you going forward with this.

Sorry to hear about all you difficulties. I am right there with you!
I do think that you have folds, and they will disappear when inflated. When deflated, unfortunately, they will be there and you will have to live with it (not being mean here, as I have them too).
Keep on top of this and keep talking to your Dr. The infection can fuck up your 'new' you. You have a different situation than I had, but just stay the course and keep us in the loop. I will be more than happy to help.

[Edited for clarity]

Understandably, the patient would like to proceed conservatively and thus he will not cycle the device for another month. In the interim likely a more robust capsule will form and minimize this fold of the fabric. He will begin gently cycling the device after month's time and let us know how things are going. I instructed him to try to hold the area that seems to be kinked to prevent extrusion if there is a small area of weakness in the corpora. Of note, I use long-lasting 2-0 PDS at the time of his revision case so these sutures should remain intact for several months.

I had to look up PDS suture to understand what it was but found a minorly concerning statement as well (highlighted below). What concerns me is that you have a history of a corporotomy unraveling. Maybe I am too much of an alarmist. If the surgeon is skilled with the use of PDS, and knows its limitations, hopefully he knows how to mitigate knot failures.

PDS sutures
Polydioxanone (PDS II) is a synthetic, absorbable, monofilament suture made from a polymer of paradioxanone (Figure 2). It has greater initial tensile strength than polyglycolic acid and polyglactin 910 but has the poorest knot security of all the synthetic absorbable sutures.

Everyone here is so great,,, thank you for all the encouraging posts and concerns.
You guys give me new hope.
I have went thru plan a b and c,, I'll be moving on to plan d and try to think more positive about this all.
Dr. Kohler at the Mayo clinic is suppose to be one of the best surgeons you can find within 500 miles of myself,, but it seems I'm always rushed thru everything each time I am there.
I'll stick thru this to the end of my limits,, not sure where that is right now,, but positive thinking is a huge part of my life,, and I'll try to get into that frame of mind again.
Thank you all again,, and I'll be on here each day trying to educate myself and answer a few questions when I can.
I'm hoping someone else will read thru this and be better informed on this journey than I was..
After 4 Titan IPP failures within 4 years I finally wised up and went to the Malleable Genesis 23cm- 13mm implanted 2-1-24 and no regrets so far.

And so it continues, yesterday I noticed the pump was concaved, hit the release button and then went to do a few pumps and the pump just collapsed and I could hear and feel air in the system.
I put in a call to the Mayo in Rochester, MN. and am currently waiting for a response, this will be my 5th surgery within 3 years of starting this whole adventure.
I'm beside myself, and really considering a rigid implant and just try and be satisfied with how ever it turns out.
This last one lasted 16 months and worked very well, there was no sign of anything going wrong at all, just noticed the bulb was collapsed, no impact, no fore warning, just plain sprung a leak, hose's or whatever had to have came apart.
I will run a update on this as the process begins again.
My final thought at this point is (I wish I never started this journey)
After 4 Titan IPP failures within 4 years I finally wised up and went to the Malleable Genesis 23cm- 13mm implanted 2-1-24 and no regrets so far.

I would go to a malleable. The Rigicon 10 looks pretty decent. Too many surgeries can affect your blood supply and expose you to glans ischemia which can lead to glans necrosis

Then your nightmare is a living hell

Oh Wow that just stinks. Not sure why you've had so many failures. If you get another, I hope it works for many, many years.
Let us know what happens.
