I worried myself sick, and was assured by the doctor and staff i was in good hands. What i would do to go back knowing what i know now. 20k out of pocket and its a disaster. Now what?

Think about that before getting this procedure. I did all my DD and i stressed reapeatedly the same concerns with the doctor and staff, had multiple calls with the patient advocates at Coloplast, and even had a conderence call with two regional reps from coloplast that convinced me. Everyone told me Dr. Karpman was a great doctor. My first concern was i did not want to lose length or girth when flaccid. I definaty lost legth. The tips not going into the gland makes it look aesthetically freaking rediculous. At 70% inflated there is a sharp bend to the left. This was suppose to be straight as an arrow. One side shorter than other.

I was so relieved when my surgery was postponed twice to gove me more time to decide. The 3rd time i decided to go through from doing even more due diligence.

I am serverly depressed. I was robbed in many ways.

Thanks Corey for your honesty, I think you got to give this a month, This is major stuff!! and you have had some really crummy surgeries in the past so you are hyper sensitive- understandable.
I have no choice, either not be a man or man up and take the jump. I have not had an natural erection in over twenty years - I can no longer use the drugs that I leaned on for so many years and injections at my age would just prolong my Ed, So I'm excited to get er done and heal and move the fuck- on.
I'm sure I'm going to feel like shit for a while but plan to push through.

Relax, heal give yourself the time you need, Hugs

They are being rough on you with the schedule changes--but even though I had my surgery only two weeks ago, I remain very convinced that it was worth it. You are going to do well, I am sure. Trust your doctor, but make sure he knows what you want on the other side. And make sure you ask all of your questions.

Don't look at it as D-Day! Look at it as I get my sex-life back day.

Dr Karpman is very experienced at this. I think you are being to critical to soon. For 4 months I was 1/4 inch longer on one side at 70% pumped. At 100 % they wear even. In the beginning the implants were not all the way into the glans. At about 12 weeks they were into the glans. You are rushing this I think.

Hey all, just got off the phone with Uro's office -they called to say some horse shiz about the INS and how they didn't agree to the last date change. So they already filled my previous spot (the 23rd) so in order for the medical/Ins to pay I have to go back to other date. Its bs and i'm kinda pissed off, its been a crummy day... I was pretty nice as I don't want to tick off the surgeon but I did let em know this was very UN-cool.
so now they are scrambling to get me a date that works with the original INS Oked date.

stay tuned- crap!
thanks all!!!

So sorry to hear your struggles and frustration. For me, it came down to "My Dick is Broken". Don't stop until it is fixed. Simple to say, took 9 years to do. Stick to your "Guns". Hold them all accountable for blocking your Goal. Never Surrender.

Best of Luck, you so deserve.
