Ronn1708...isn't it wonderful that you have a Coloplast rep who is willing to discuss details about their implant system with men with questions!! My female rep and her boss, however, were on the opposite end of the spectrum when it came time for me to decide. Richmond Virginia's rep to uro doctors, Ms. Berkley Mudrick, had absolutely NO time for my pre-op questions and 'reported' me to my first surgeon, Dr. Szobota. He fired me as a patient after I showed signs of not 'being committed' to the surgery. Maybe it's just me but, when I PM'd another FrankTalk member who passed along his Coloplast rep's name and contact information, that rep also ignored my questions. Only Dr. Eid was willing to email me, with detailed answers, when I contacted him twice post-op even though I was never his patient.

My only hope is that your rep is more 'reputable' than most Coloplast field employees. Yes, I could have gone to NY in 2018 and been Dr. Eid's patient but that's all past now. And the ignorance and lack of caring of my location's docs and Coloplast rep is the main reason why I will NEVER have a revision anywhere close to Richmond and their closed-mindedness!

Is there a Coloplast webpage that lists the contact info for their reps by state? I'm in Florida but don't know how to track down my rep.

If Coloplast is anything like AMS, there are only a couple, maybe three or so reps that everyone in the USA talks to. There isn't one assigned per state as you might think.

I called AMS "cold" by dialing the number in the patient literature and my Patient Liaison was the same one that a few others here from various states had also mentioned talking to.

Understand, there's a different between the Patient Liaison and the reps that attend the surgeries with their inventory. I would imagine that the company surgical reps would rarely be available for patient questions unless you happen to speak to them the date of surgery and I'm not even certain of that.

It’s not the Reps responsibility to speak to patients but some, like mine choose to do so.

Ray Watts will talk to anybody. He is a Coloplast titan patient educator. He use to attend surgeries too is my understanding. He is a great person and I got his permission to share his information before I posted here. He welcomes the opportunity to help guys considering an implant as well as those they already have one. If he don't have your answer for a question he will get it and call you back. You may have to leave him a voicemail because he does stay busy but he will contact you back. He has been out for a few weeks on medical but is almost back to 100% now.

I also am very happy with my doctor who gives his patients his personal cell phone number and will return calls, texts and emails. He is a very busy doctor but I have never found a doctor more dedicated to his patient than he is. The only other doctor that I have his personal cell phone is the kid I use to run and workout with who was my neighbor. I thank God daily for Ray, my doctor, my good friend jamesmason (here on FT) and this Discussion board !!

I too had Ray Watts as a rep. He has become a friend along with my Rep. Never met a nicer man in my life. He is very knowledgeable and willing to answer any question. He was a blessing before and after my surgery.
I can't understand why a rep would not be will to help his patience . Isn't that kind of what a rep does?
I guess Ray spoiled me.
