Implanted Feb 12

Postby rjdoan » Sat Feb 13, 2021 3:56 am

Well, it happened. I guess everything went well. I had three procedures--a left orchiectomy to remove the remnants of a destroyed testicle, the removal of an epididymal cyst my right side and of course the implant which I was very excited about. Dr Herati at Johns Hopkins did the surgery. I got the LGX 18 plus 1.
Of course the worst pain I'm having now is from the tube they put down my throat and the catheter. I am still really wrapped-up and my penis is very hard--I am not sure how much he left it pumped up. Going pee is a real problem, I peed all over myself until I finally figured it out and used the container they gave me. lol Can't sleep tonight--probably from being asleep all day.

Thanks for the well wishes. I just called the doctor because the drain is producing about 35 cc of every 6 hours--so a little concern there since the cut off was 150 cc every 24 hours. Little pain--Tylenol only. Overall off to a good start.

Best move a man suffering from ED can make. Apply ice bag as often as possible. Brings the swelling down and I am not sure about you but my scrotum always has turned almost dark brown/.black, but with the ice the white color started coming back in about five days. Hope you recover as fast as I did, four weeks later the doctor was surprised how fast I had healed up and told me I could use it, but I waited six weeks to make sure I was completely healed. I figured there is plenty of time to get back into action. They done a good job on my revision and hope it lasts as long as my first time when I was 58 years old and lasted fifteen years. I got the LGX also and I really like it. I am sure you will to.
Good luck and a fast recovery. ;)

I WAS DRAINING ABOUT THE SAME AMOUT ON SECOND DAY. Then it slowed to a stop. I would say it is normal. I was also apprehensive like you are.
