VED prescription prior to IPP ?
It was recommended to me today by the doctor to VED before surgery to help with size. Has anyone got a prescription from doctor for a VED? If so, where did you go through to purchase?

Re: VED prescription prior to IPP ?
My doctor recommended it, saying it might help and couldn't hurt, but didn't go as far as writing a formal prescription. He said any pump and cylinder available from numerous sources would suffice although he did recommend using caution on devices without gauges and to pay attention to the gauge on ones with (don't remember his precise recommendations).
There are VED devices available on Amazon from sex toy companies like LeLuv and many others, as well as medical grade devices such as ErecAid with the tension rings and the whole kit. The rings are only needed if you plan to use the VED enhanced erection for having sex. Used merely for therapy prior to IPP implantation, one only needs to pull a vacuum and release it several times during each session, without trapping the blood using the rings. Ring use should be carefully timed and not exceed 30 minutes at a time if used, with a period of time between sessions (I think it was 15 minutes without the ring and vacuumed erection between sessions).

Good news that your doctor is concerned about you and your outcome enough to help you with this.
The thing with pumps is you need to be careful and pump slowly. Sex shops have these in stock and prices can be lower than your copay with insurance for medical grade devices. You will have to check this with your pharmacy or medical supply company your insurance uses. You can also by these on line. A manual pump is the least expensive like this one. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Pump-Worx-Ac ... /824658284 You should get one with a gauge and carefully watch the vacuum level and keep it low. And again pump really slow. To much even low vacuum to fast can cause damage. I have to be careful with one like this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Top-Gauge-Pr ... e/47309318 They make a number of different cushions also as the ones with the device are a bit lacking. https://www.walmart.com/ip/CalExotics-O ... /507332184 And I even have some that are thick foam. But I do not have a link. You can search your other online order places if you like. If your doctor gave you instructions on type of pump and usage of it then follow the doctors orders. But you may find even the medical grade electric pumps cheaper on line. There are a couple of articles I would suggest reading from the documents worth reading list in the general section of this site. https://augustams.com/how-to-use-a-peni ... -exercise/ and https://file.scirp.org/pdf/ASM_2013012514045982.pdf
I use a water base personal lube from the female section of the grocery store I go to. It is the house brand and low cost. Beats high priced lubes or you can check on line also. Might check the area for condoms but that may have the higher priced lubes.
If you are scheduled for surgery soon you might want to move on this the fastest way you can as most say 2 weeks in the minimum and 6 weeks is better. And some doctors do not want VED use or injections for 5 days or a week prior to surgery. Nor do they want you to shave for the week prior to surgery in case of a nick getting infected.
You might check over on the VED section also. Good luck.

I did and I think I had a great result. I would not buy some sex toy device; get a medical grade, battery operated device if you can afford it. Go to Gesiva Medical and they will overnight it to you. Anything worth doing is worth doing well. Good luck—it will encourage you to see your new soon to be size!

Seeing where you are at, I recommend the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. PM me if you want to discuss.

just get a cheap on off of amazon. Gauge is not needed. Just don't pump till it hurts. You will be ok.
