Anorgasmia

Postby barrylandon » Fri Jan 29, 2021 3:22 am

I have suffered from anorgasmia since my implant surgery nearly 9 months ago. Lately I've noticed a number of posts in this forum on the topic of anorgasmia, including my own. Also recently, I discovered that there is a little used topic specifically titled "Anorgasmia" on the Discussion Board Index, a few below "Implants" (until now, I've never scrolled down past the "Implant" topic!).
Do any of my Bionic Brothers think that there should be a separate discussion board for implanted men who, like me, suffer from post-op anorgasmia? Please post your thoughts about this. Thanks!

I'm posting this again because I'm surprised that there have not yet been any responses. I know that quite a few guys on FT have had difficulty with orgasm/ejaculation post-op, so much appreciate any helpful solutions, as well as things tried but didn't work. For me, that includes Bi-Mix and Tri-Mix urethral gels, Oxytocin nasal spray and Cabergoline.

I've had that issue to some degree, as the implant has caused me to lose a lot of sensitivity in the glans. I can't seem to orgasm with penetration at all now, has to be either masturbation or oral to get me to that point. can't say I have a solution for it though.

OregonStrong...At least you can still orgasm/ejaculate by means other than PIV, something that I've been unable to do since my implantation. Have you tried anything to increase sensitivity? If so, has it helped?

I have an issue with it also, not every time but want it to be every time. To me that makes sex complete. I talked to my Dr. about it and said in his opinion nothing would help when I had asked about things like cabagoline. Thinking erotic thoughts when trying to get there helps at times but if not so what I just got my wife of multiple times and she is very happy! I then get off using a vibrator. :D

Just trying to bring this discussion back to the subject of the original post :D

I don't think there would be enough people to justify a whole board just for this issue, as seeing from the response, I guess it's not a major issue for most guys. I wonder if one of those silicone masturbators might work for you? Heck I've even seen porn videos of milking machines, but that's getting a bit into weird S&M stuff for me.

barrylandon,
From what I know, anorgasmia is prevalent in men who had prostate removed because of prostate cancer.
That happened to me, that happened to others.
Even those who are not anorgasmic, orgasm feels very different and it is always dry, nothing comes out. For some who removed prostate, they might experience climacturia ( urine comes out) with orgasam .
Also, some medications for mental problems or to relieve urinary obstruction secondary to BPH, can cause anorgasmia or delay of orgasm.
It must be underlying cause which is preventing you from having an orgasm.

Fortunately, I still have my prostate but unfortunately it does not alter the fact that I can't orgasm/ejaculate from ANY sexual activity with my attractive, talented wife at 9 months post-op -- something I was able to do most of the time prior to implantation.
After another failure to launch with my wife the other night, it took me ONE AND ONE HALF HOURS to achieve a brief orgasm and weak ejaculation through masturbation with my favorite type of pornographic videos!
I understand that anorgasmia is expected with men who have had RP surgery...and my heart goes out to all of you who have had to live with that reality. But, at least you all have a REASON for your inability to ejaculate. I don't and I KNOW there are many FT members who also question why their orgasmic/ejaculatory functions don't work the same after implantation as they did before the surgery. I want to continue encouraging these men to participate in this discussion and to share their experiences, interventions, etc.

Was the implant the immediate catalyst of this? Do you still feel pleasurable sensations, enough that you would expect to be able to orgasm? Have you tried to have your wife "milk" your prostate? Have you had a full endocrine panel run to look at bloodwork? I can't say I have had this issue, but I have had issues where my orgasm was basically pleasureless for a few months after taking different compounds (1x Tamoxifene, 1x L-Dopa).
