The heart echo, ultrasound whatever it's called, was done this morning. Was told I wouldn't get results until Monday, which was going to make for a long, worried weekend. Well, a few minutes ago the results popped up in my on-line health record. The first line read, "Echo is essentially normal with good heart pumping action." Whew!!! So unless they throw me any more curve balls, I'll be getting my new dick on the 18th. Excited, thrilled and scared all at the same time.

I am blessed with a very loving and supportive husband during all of this. He just wants me to be happy, not that he won’t benefit from my new bionic member LOL. Last night I got him to watch one of the You Tube surgery vids. He wasn’t horrified, and I got a positive reaction, but we had already talked at length about the whole process. I just thought he should know what I am going to have done and be prepared.

We talked at length about everything what a new functional dick means to us ranging from our sex life, my self-image and all the logistics involved with preparation and recovery. He has read all the materials from the surgeon and the hospital and will help me stay on track of when to do what, when to stop taking certain prescriptions etc. This would be a whole different experience without his support. Just felt the need to share.

Implant surgery in 5 days. I am vacillating between happy, thrilled and excited to sheer stark terror. Trying to stay on the excited side, focusing on coming out of all this with a functioning dick, but it's challenging. Other than a heart stent a few years ago, which really didn't involve surgery per se, this will be my first major surgery. Going for Covid test on Monday which is the last hurdle. Wow, this is a real roller coaster ride.

Hang in there man, you'll love being bionic. It will be a few weeks of some soreness following surgery, and getting used to new things down below. Had mine done in 2019, first surgery in my life at age 68.

As I close in on surgery, my emotions have settled on the side of happy and excited. Of course, I wish it was already over, but this is the process I have to go through to get my sex life back. And that's good. Starting tomorrow the anti-bacterial bathing twice a day protocol begins, and certain medications and supplements have been stopped, The surgeons instructions are far more extensive than the hospitals were. I'll do what he says. Like not shaving for a month prior to surgery. It has been years since I've had hair on my balls or shaft. Feels really odd to me, and looks that way too. Now I just need it to stop freakin' snowing!

Thanks Swiss. Just got back from hospital for covid test. Swab up the nose, not pleasant but not really bad. Should have results tomorrow or Wednesday. The real issue is the weather. By Wednesday we're going to have maybe 10 inches on the ground. The hospital is 19 miles across town and it won't stop f'in snowing! Now I get to worry about that.

Good Luck SteveSW, I think all of us that have made the bionic trip have had those same emotions. I wish I had known how easy it was going to be for me. You will look back at this time and say to yourself why didn’t I do this years ago.

I am loving my bionic hard cock,
