Yes, knowledge is power. Prior to embarking on actually getting the implant, I did as much research and reading on the subject as I could find. I do have to say, that the men here on FT provided an enormous amount of knowledge, experience and view points that I could draw from, and I thank them for their openness and honesty. I went into my initial doctor interviews feeling confident and well informed. I do not regret the implant one iota. It has changed my life.
