I feel very well informed, prepared and more important with realistic expectations.
I am missing an important piece "an experienced surgeon in Arizona"

I have not personally used him, but I listened to a podcast he did and he hit all the checkboxes and what I would look for in am implanter.

Re: Any Bionics from Arizona.
I use Ironwood (no puns) Urology in the Phoenix area and find them competant.
As on my signature, Dr Avila did my surgery.
I had no underlying issues and he did a great job sizing me.
Right at my first activation, I was at my lifelong size.
Two things I didn't like:
1. He refused to install the LGX since he was under the impression that LGX would be floppy at 18CM or longer.
I know we don't have the call for that. The CX is all right, but I believe I would have liked the LGX.
2. I got no follow up instructions but got all the meaningful info here on FT.
I also never got any papers or device ID from him. Also, no surgical notes.
Right now my doc there is Kevin Bigelow and he does inspire confidence.
I think I'd consult with Dr Bigelow.
I really can't comment on Dr Blick, but it sounds like some sort of assembly line practice.
I only base that on my instinct for what that's worth.
I just hit the 2 year mark and things are going very well with no issues.
