I was given a coloplast titan 3 piece ,14cm with 1cm rear tip extender. It turns out that device is only about 3 inchs. That is to small to be able to have successful intercourse. So it doesn't work. thank you for your help.

cscout, I can completely understand how you feel. I was definitely on the lower end of average length, but years of undiagnosed diabetes & heart disease lead to ED. I wasted time and caused myself more depression waiting too long to get my implant. I had my surgery on Nov. 6, 2017. My doctor, who is Coloplast's surgeon of excellence warned me that he cannot restore the length I lost (loos if blood flow causes damage and you loose elasticity in the skin & nerve damage.) So I ended up with a 15cm implant and as you said, a three inch penis. It can get hard now, but not very useful. I also have a lot of tubing that sticks out just below my shaft that makes what little I have even more challenging to use as the tubing protrudes and does not give much. I saw an implant surgeon to see about a revision to correct the tubing issue in Dec. of 2019, but had quadruple bypass surgery in Feb. 2020, add the pandemic and so I hope to have the revision done this year. I don't know if he can add length to me as I pull on my penis, there is not much skin left to add any length more that a centimeter. I can definitely sympathize with you. Please keep us posted or PM me. VegasED

Thank you for your reply and the details of what happened to you. It feels like I got ED all over again. I only waited 5 months to get my implant and used a VED most every day. I did not have ED before prostate surgery , I got that after surgery. If they give you an implant that is to short for intercourse I think that means it does't work. I hope i can find a dr. to help regain some length so my wife and i can have intercourse again. The last time was 2016.Again thank you for your support. You can PM me also if you need. I guess I'm on a mission to get my wife and me back together.

cscout,
I share same experience as you wrote.
I had prostate cancer at age of 51. Had RP in November 2016. After prostate removal and inability to regain sexual function I lost 2+ inches of length and some girth with almost nothing to pull out to urinate.
At my consultation for implant in 2018, doc said my stretched penis length is 4 inches and that is what I am going to have after implant in best case scenario. I did not know much about different manufacturers of implant and I accepted Titan which was not good much with my length. Because of bad installation with crossover and constant pain, I went into revision and changed Titan for AMS CX which is perfect much to my anatomy. I am very happy now.

Thanks for your input.I believe your right that we should not have been implanted with a coloplast since we started out smaller. I too lost 2 inches and alot of girth.I just need to find a doctor to give me a revision. All i need is enough length for intercourse. Is there doctors that do revisions even if the device works but is too small? thanks again.
