Some thoughts after playing around with a model of the Coloplast Titan

I had about an hour to mess around with a model of the Titan prior to my Dr appt last week. I actually learned a lot from that.

-The cylinders were much much softer than expected. I am sure this model is not "new" and has been played with quit a bit, so that may be why it was so much softer than expected. However, I highly doubt it has been exposed to heat (sauna, hot tub, hot bath) like many say helps soften newer ones up. This "softness" actually made me rethink the LGX 700 or the Titan.

- The pump was a bit smaller than expected. It pumped up fairly easy, but maybe a tad slower than expected. It took a split second longer to refill that I expected.

-The pump itself was easy to pump, but I can see how older men with arthritis might have issues.

-The reservoir was much smaller than I expected. However, it was more "circular" /"ball-like" when filled than I expected.

-Hitting the deflate valve was slightly tougher than I thought. Sometimes when I would squeeze it, I would immediately notice a rush of fluid entering the reservoir. Other times I wouldn't, sometimes I'd have to try to re squeeze.

-You definitely need to squeeze / bend the cylinders in order to fully deflate. However, doing so, roughly, made it deflate pretty quickly.

- Definitely noticed a "gushing" sound when inflating, which might make it kinda weird to pump next to someone. I did not notice that holding the release prongs (without activating it) and then pumping with the other hand made it slightly quieter.

-The tips and the RTEs were much much softer than I expected. Idk why, but I expected them to be harder.

-Messing with this thing made me way more conformable in getting it implanted. Its not as scary and foreign as I expected.

Very nice post, thanks for sharing your thoughts! Interesting that you found the rods to be softer than expected- a lot of people describe their implant as "hard as a railroad spike" etc. Hope I can get one too!

Had Titan for 27 months.
My cylinders never softened to improve my flaccid look.
After deflection, my penis was flat like run by bus tire, but still was sticking out at 45 degrees and looked as good partial erection.
Never was pliable.

I’m two months out with the Titan and I am comfortable with flaccid but will say 5” flaccid is something I have had to get use to,but I have.I increased girth quite a bit and do like that!Erections are incredible!

My flaccid is 4.5' so 5' wouldn't be so strange. But my erect is 6.75' so a 6.75' flaccid would be something to get used to!

Also, tend to be on the slimmer side, so a little girth would be more to get used to.

My surgeon showed me this model too before my implant. It did look strange but helped me understand how it works. My only thought was "That thing is going into my body?" Now 14 months post I'm happy to have had it done. I did lose some length but gained a little girth. My flaccid state is like a semi-erection, stiff enough to masturbate without inflating more.
