If you do penescrotal in your virgin surgery - can you go for infrapubic for revision?

If you do penescrotal in your virgin surgery - can you go for infrapubic for revision?

Did anyone do penescrotal in the first time and infrapubic for the revision? Or vice versa? I am just curious.

Yes, someone recently posted a link to their surgical video in which they went from penoscrotal to infrapubic with their revision and the doctor spoke specifically about how easy it is to go between the two different methods during revisions.

I've wondered how this would be possible, the cylinders are exiting through holes on the underside of the corpora in the penoscrotal method, if they then made an incision on the top side of the corpora in a suprapubic, I could see that they could cut the tubes and pull the ends through, but wouldn't you have to stitch up the holes on the underside of the corpora? Otherwise you'd have the old exit holes on the bottom open and new exit holes on the top. I would think that could lead to tearing of the corpora. Maybe the holes just naturally close up quickly once there is no tube coming through keeping it open. I would love to see that video.

It is not only possible, it is not a big deal, if you go to a dedicated surgeon with experience in both approaches. I just had a revision surgery almost two weeks ago where I went from an AMS CX that was placed penoscrotally to a Titan that was placed infrapubically. My surgeon, Dr. Alex Tatem in Indianapolis did a beautiful job, and you can see it here if you'd like.

So far I am very impressed with infrapubic placement.

Sorry, I couldn't remember who but it was to your story I was referring on my first post.

I was particularly impressed by his addition of additional "water proofing" stitches (presumably to the old corporotomies, but I really don't know) to allow any remaining natural tumescence to still properly function (i.e., remaining natural erection).

Hey C_lab, which pump did you get? I had the same pump with the crossbar release implanted six weeks ago, but my surgeon doesn't know the name. I've been googling trying to find pictures of it but without knowing the name, I haven't had any success.

I have penescrotal in the first time and infrapubic for the revision.
I'd take infrapubic any time over penescrotal.

Thanks for sharing. Why do you prefer infrapubic over penescrotal?
Apart from the obvious swollen sack, don’t you think pensescrotal has some advantage over IP like better sizing etc...
