Hello
Does anyone know any other doctors good for implants who cares about sizing right and is known to do a lot of implants outside the US. I am under a B2 medical visa in the US getting treated for PFS. What scares me is that i get an implant and for some reason in the future im not allowed in the US. My country is a third world country and there are no doctors to help me if my implant fails or something goes wrong with it.
I am planning to go for DR.EID its going to cost me everything out of my pocket. Anyone knows anyway i can get insured under my Medical/Tourism visa. Any US citizen's are so lucky having not to worry about any of these issues. Just want to smile again and be stress free.

Bangkok,
I see you are under supervision of Dr Khera.
It would be very easy to go for implant with Dr Clavell who is also in Houston Texas. Dr Clavell is high performance implanted doing 150+ implants in a year.
He is also very caring surgeon who has his patients best interest on hand.
Look him up. It’s worth.

Re: NEED ADVICE
Bangkok, before giving up on your countries medical system. I would suggest a little research. It seems to me that some "elites" in smaller countries indeed do travel for specialized healthcare. Maybe a little bit of discrete research might reveal where they go for implants. Obviously, the info won't generally say what procedure that they had done. But some conclusions can be drawn from their age, known medical health & so forth.
Another possibility would be to try going to an European country to study. Lets say England. As a student with a legal reason for being in the country. There is a chance that the NHS might cover your healthcare.
My point is that it might be wise to look for what others in your country do or try to get legal temporary residency in a country with a universal health system.
If these things don't appeal to you. A member named Indusvalley just returned home after visiting the USA for his implant surgery. Read his past posts or contact him to see how he accomplished his travel. Good luck.

Insurance to cover IPP is complicated in the US. Not every one who has insurance can get a (covered) implant. Many of us were not able to get the implant because insurance rejected it. That is why a lot of members here on FT are stating that they paid out of pocket. As GT1956 said, check out other option that could be available in your country, or try a different one.
If you can afford to pay the full cost out of pocket, you can find a world-class surgeon below $20k.
