Post Op Day 2
Finally had my implant surgery the morning of 12/30/20 by Dr. Clavell out of Houston.
Overall, he said the surgery went well and feels I will be happy with the results. No more curve, no more ED, no more meds, no more worry.
I have a 24cm Titan with 1cm RTE's. Because of my good girth (6") he add some extra fluid to the reservoir to help ensure I am filled out. Pre-op measurements was about 6.75" length and 6" girth towards the base.
He did take out some excess webbing in my sac because it would have tendency to pull down on the penis.
I am currently @ 70% to 80% inflated which I will continue to be for 6 weeks.
Pain has been mild but more discomfort and almost a pressure feel in my perineum area.
Can anybody offer tips and tricks with recovery? Especially for how to manage and erection for 6 weeks.
I appreciate the support the board has provided and thanks for providing the confidence in making the right decision.

Congrats! Lots of technical tips are available...but the most important thing is to not feel dejected if there is any temporary setback....if the doctor is good, there is hardly any reason to have any second thoughts
Since you are young, your recovery will be seamless, I hope

kickit40, did he keep you overnight to administer IV antibiotics? Did you drive back home? How was the ride? Do you have a drain?

Hi there.
No, I was discharged as soon as I could urinate with no drain.
I rode back to Dallas which is a four hour drive. It wasn't very uncomfortable but be aware you will have to urinate very often and will be a burning sensation for first few days.

I found that tight-fitting briefs or jockstrap helped in the beginning. I bought one size smaller than I usually wear.

Would you press your penis against your stomach using your waist band to help hold in place? Also, would you lift up your entire sac?

Post Op Day 3
I took all the bandages off last night and was able to take a shower.
My sac is still very swollen along with parts of the shaft. It's hard to visual what my penis will look like once all the swelling goes down but time will tell.
I am very nervous and cautious having my penis around 75% full, last thing I want to do it to hurt myself.
Pain is still manageable but more discomfort in my sac and perineum area still.

kickit40, sorry to pepper you with questions but since I'm considering an implant with Dr. Clavell and I too have to travel to see him I want to learn more about the logistics of the trip. You said you have to urinate frequently - did you have to make stops on the way back? Did you use a gas station restroom and bring the curved bottle into a stall?

What was the degree of curvature you had? Did he remove any of the plaque?
