Cycling - How do you do yours?

Postby truckrglenn » Sun Dec 20, 2020 1:34 pm

As the title states. I read posts about cycling the implant, but not really how you do it. Like do you inflate, wait a certain amount of time then deflate. Do you inflate and deflate continuously? Ect ect ect.

Please post your cycling routine.

I just pump it up and let it stay till I’m tired of it. If I get a really hard pump and it a bit uncomfortable I try to tough it out for 30 min.

The important thing is to follow your surgeon's instructions on cycling.
I am to cycle once a day. Inflating to full full and occasionally giving it any available additional pumps. Trying to maximize size. Leave it inflated for 15 minutes, then fully deflate. After deflation giving one squeeze of pump to reset it. I am on this routine for the first 3 months, to maximize the reservoir and cylinders. Then I will see what he suggests.
It gets better every day. I am allowed to "use" it so can inflate it at other times too.
But to prevent erosion I shouldn't be inflating it unnecessarily.

My surgeon instructed me to inflate to the point when it starts to feel painful once a day for 60 continuous minutes. I've been doing this daily routine for more than 6 months now and I've almost reached the point that pumped 100% to the max is no longer painful. Like some others have suggested, after waiting a few minutes I can usually do an additional 5-10 pumps. When I deflate (while continuing to hold in the deflate button), I squeeze my shaft from glans down to the base. This causes all of the saline to flow back into the reservoir and gives me the most completely flaccid feeling. My flaccid length is 1-1/2 inches longer than pre-surgery and my erect length is about 1/2" longer than before surgery, including length I used to gain from glans engorgement. If I'm ever fortunate enough to regain glans engorgement, my overall length increase would probably top out at a little more than 1" post vs.pre-op.
Implanted 5/6/20 by Dr. Jesse Mills at UCLA; AMS 700 LGX 18 cm w/2 cm RTEs. I'm 76 & fit but had ED for 20 years. Pills/injections ultimately failed, including 3 ER trips for Priapism; Shockwave & embryonic stem cell therapies didn't help either.
