Can't declare + 1 inch size loss

Postby smphead » Wed Dec 16, 2020 9:09 am

So common sence over here is, the surgeons like Kramer/Eid/Perito/Hakky/Karman will mostly prevent you for size loss post-op. By inserting the end of the cilinders about half in the glans.

I can understand that a lower volume surgeon dilates less agressive and stops lower in the glans or just under the glans.
But that shouldn't make much more different in size like maximum 1 inch.
But i read posts that people end with 3 inches shorter than pre-op. I dont get this, it's like the end of the cilinders ends 3 inch lower than half the way in the glans.
How the F. can you end 3 inch shorter than pre-op. I understand they can't make longer than what you have, but on the other hand they can't cut 3 inch of your penis.q

So it's very frustrating for people who can't afford a top surgeon abroad hearing over and over than you have to go to worldclass surgeon. The best over here are doing like100 -150 a year.

For what it's worth, I would be very comfortable going to a surgeon who does 100-150 a year.

Surgeon who das 100-150/ year or when divided by week it is 2-3 per week which is for me very reasonable to choose that surgeon. If that surgeon is doing implants for at least 2 years, I would feel comfortable to go with him.
I am a bit biased, I would not choose female urologist for my implant same as I never had chosen female dentists.

I find fault with your logic, the corpus cavernosum is only so long, you can't dilate past it. The erectile tissue in the glans is completely separate from the shaft. Also I would question anyone who said they lost 3 inches, my guess is they were measuring preop while using vacumn pump, which is an unrealistic size. To insult surgeons because they aren't the big names is an insult to them and to their patients. Just cause your a bigger name doesn't make you better.

I've had three implants. I lost an inch or so from "my original dick". However, even my "shorter dick" is way way way better than my post-RP limp noodle. I think part of my loss was from atrophy over the 2.5 years between RP and my first implant.

Good luck man!!!

Smphead, if you have surgeons doing 100 to 150 a year. They should have plenty of experience. In my discussion with my doctor. After finding out how many he was doing per year. The next question was about his education & training.
There are several factors to a surgeons quality. Number of surgeries is only 1 of them. Education & training are others. There is a very good arguement that a surgeon that loves his work is better also. Much like a skilled craftsman.
Have you been able to do much research on the doctor in Belgium that you mentioned a while back? I suggest to research the closest to you surgeons first. If you are not satisfied, then look a little farther away. I'm sure that there is a suitable surgeon for you in the EU. Finding him/her is the problem. Don't get frustrated. Keep researching. Good luck.
