I for one feel like we don't hear enough success stories. I know that there are men here who have had success for eight, nine ten all the way up to twenty years with successful implants. We see you alls comments every now and then on different topics but share your stories. Encourage the men here. Reach out and give some of these men who feel hopeless with this ed issue some hope. Personally i am not ready to get the implant. I still want to try other things but we all know that long term it will be nessary. So give your brothers some hope. Tell your stories.

By all means explore all of your options but don't be afraid of going down the route of an implant... If medical intervention can't help you then surgery is a great solution.
My story is below... I wish I had known about FT and implants after my prostate surgery in 2001 I would have had the implant years earlier and not suffered from loss of confidence and other issues.
The implant has given me a renewed interest in life.. it's not perfect but it's much better than having a Dick that doesn't work.
Your future partners will be lining up to give it a test drive...

You are right, the guys who do not run into issues move on with their life.

I spoke with a patient advocate yesterday. He had an implant at 28 and is now in his 60s. He said that he has had 2 revisions, but 1 of the times it was his fault. He said that you really forget you have an implant after a while and he was getting accupuncture and the Dr put a needle through his reservoir, causing him to need to get it fixed.

I am one who tried/used EVERYTHING on the market for ED over 15 years, including embryonic stem cell injections! There was no option left for me except an implant. However, I suggest that you do as I did and exhaust every possible medication, treatment, etc. out there before deciding on surgery. However, if you opt for an implant, research/read everything you can find about products, procedures and surgeons...and read all the posts on FT that are relevant to you. I feel fortunate to now have a dependable and hard erection whenever and for as long as I/we want it. Just be aware that a biological erection is very different than a bionic one in many ways...some better, some worse...depending on your unique, individual preferences.
Implanted 5/6/20 by Dr. Jesse Mills at UCLA; AMS 700 LGX 18 cm w/2 cm RTEs. I'm 76 & fit but had ED for 20 years. Pills/injections ultimately failed, including 3 ER trips for Priapism; Shockwave & embryonic stem cell therapies didn't help either.
