Hang in there. Every body and every surgery (and surgeon) varies. I'm 8 days post op. I was a ton more bruised than today. I am a bit sore and swollen, but not bad. I'm taking Tylenol, some gabapentin and aleve mostly to keep it in check. I think I am extra bruised because they had to place the reservoir pretty high above my belly button. I have had two prior hernia surgeries (both sides). I am in less pain than I expected. It hurts, but less than my hernia repairs and a ton less than my knee replacement :D

I have a recheck with the surgeon's office later this week.

Resize your pics in a simple picture editor for web use. If it just gives resolution options, try something like 800x600 for the size and do a test upload in your message. If it's too small or whatever, edit accordingly and replace it or upload again in another message.

Sometimes raw jpg/png pics will be upside down in this board. I find that if I get the size right but the pic turns sideways or upside down in the message, I just crop it slightly and edit my message with a re-uploaded photo and it corrects it.

Thank you for the reply, I guess each day it will get a little easier, you must of also had an incredible amount of bruising as you still have quite a bit, I am still taking Percocet for pain at this point. I was finally able to get enough stool softeners in me today to be able to go, this is a big improvement to yesterday as I was constipated along with the surgery pain

Choose the picture you want to send and right click on it. From the open with option choose Paint. Then choose the resize option in Paint. I always go with the 30% option. The save the picture . Now you can load it here. Good luck

It is hard, but it should get better week by week as everything heals. I had very little bruising or pain but a lot of excess fluid, tissue whatever in my scrotum after my implant. It was so full I could not find the deflate button on the titan. My pump adhered to the tissue. It was several months before all the excess stuff in my scrotum was absorbed.

So just try to have patience. Try to lay flat as much as you can. My doc told me to stay out of a recliner as it causes blood to pool in your crotch. Flat with just your head above your groin is fine. Keep some frozen peas on your junk and things should get better.

When you can without pain start massaging the skin and tissue around pump gently. I was also told this helps break down all that stuff left in the scrotum after surgery. The drain does not get all of it.

Good luck. There are a lot of stories on here of men just like you. A rough go at first but it got better week by week.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.
