Agree that your list is full of awesome surgeons. My advice is that if you are within 2 hours drive of one of these guys, it is best to go with someone on that list who is within the 2 hour drive. Remember that having issues addressed that require a tune-up operation will be way easier if you can get to that doctor's office easily. It is not just the surgery, it is also the follow up care should complications appear.

Thanks Tangerine, I'm trying for the great doctors near me in NYC (all I know of is Eid within a 2hr drive). If it doesn't work out, Hakky in Georgia will be my 2nd choice. If I go with Hakky for the surgery and complications occur that can't be handled virtually, I assume Eid can provide great postoperative care here in NY. Or it's not ideal to have a different surgeon handling post-op?

Could anyone provide me a list of what they believe is the 5 most popular/highly reviewed doctors for implants? I can inquire with those doctors and insurance if they'll cover.

"Popular" means what it means, I guess, and so I can only weigh in on my surgeon - Laurence Levine here in Chicago. As I've said prior, he's the ultimate sleeper in terms of IPPs. Has done thousands, consummate pro, has given me consistently great experiences for almost 10 years and a remarkably great new dick last November. The guy is just under the radar, quiet, reserved. But supremely confident, and with good reason. I kind of view him as the freakishly intense cheerleader for, and architect of, the Dick You Want.

My total bill was $38k. That's Levine's surgeon charge, the UroPartners ambulatory surgery facility charges, etc. However, my insurance's negotiated rate reduced that $38k down to $9,900 and with blessed benefit of some crazy good health insurance, I paid 10% of the negotiated rate, or...a whole $990. I know. It's ridiculous.

Having said all that, I know that his non-insurance/self-pay rates are significantly below the imaginary $38k they bill insurances, and they'll have that discussion with prospective patients 1:1, for what it's worth.

His name is Jonathan Clavell, MD men’s sexual health specialists and high volume IPP implant surgeon. Ha does 150 penile implants per year.

Hi,
I had two video consults with Dr. Eid. He said he won’t be retiring for a few years because he has two kids in college. He recommended Dr. Billy Cordon at Mount Sinai in Florida and Dr. Moray. He spoke very highly of both of them.

I’m scheduled for a consult with Dr. Cordon in January. I believe he trained with Dr. Eid in New York.

Just wanted to add about Dr. Cordon in Miami. He trained with Dr. Morey in Dallas and Dr. Eid NYC. Young guy so, don't know how many implants he's done. He did my follow up after my Urethroplasty with Dr. Morey. Dr Cordon goes by Billy with everyone. Won't stand for "Doctor". Very Humble and easy to converse. Please post up if you've seen Dr. Cordon. We need another Go To Implant guy in Florida.

Had my surgery on September 1st with Dr. Tariq Hakky at Atlanta Cosmetic Urology. He is a very high volume implant surgeon and a great doctor.
My experience with Dr. Hakky and his staff has been nothing short of wonderful. I am 100% satisfied with my implant and only regret that I didn't see him sooner. What sets Dr. Hakky apart is his devotion to his patients. He is available to them in a way that most Doctors are not.
In addition to my E.D. I was suffering with decreasing ability to have and orgasm. I had talked to other Urologist about this and was basically ignored and told it was just part of getting older. When I told Dr. Hakky about it he prescribed Cabergoline and told to give it a few weeks to work. Well it's working well and I am back to having good orgasms again and it has also helped me maintain my testosterone levels. My problem started a bout three years ago. I started having problems cumming during penetration. I could come from masturbation or oral sex but not penetration. I guess there wasn't enough friction during intercourse but it was frustration as hell. I mentioned to to Dr. Hakky and he put me on Cabergoline 0.5 mg twice a week for 90 days. I started noticing a difference after about four weeks. He also prescribed Oxytocin lozenges that I dissolve under my tongue 15 minutes before sex.
I can cum now but not all the time, unless I have some other kind of stimulation. I did have to take the Cabergoline for three weeks before adding the Oxytocin . It takes time for the Cabergoline to take effect.

You refer to "other kind of stimulation". I'm curious what type of stimulation you're referring. I have found that when masturbating, even with vibratory stimulus I usually respond and orgasm much faster when stimulating myself anally. Not using a vigorous stimulation mind you, just a small amount of friction motion. The one time since my implant that I had an orgasm with my wife a few months ago, I had in a large steel anal plug and I had pulled it out and pushed it back on a couple of times before peaking.
