Anyone without testicles

Postby Balless » Thu Dec 03, 2020 9:29 pm

Hello everyone, new here, Long story short I had my testicles removed after problems with vasectomy over ten years and have been on TRT ever since. I’m am scheduled to have implants put in in a few days but wonder if I will have issues with a tight sac due to no testicles for so long, I have searched the forums but not seeing anyone else with the same situation, any other guys out there please chime in.
Thank you,

Testicular skin is, by nature's design, elastic. I predict you will have no problems at all.

Guys with testicles have no problems with their scrotums accommodating the addition of an the extra contents when an implant pump is added and I met one man who had, at the same time, both an implant AND a pump for an Auxiliary Urinary Sphincter (AUS). I did not ask if he had any complaints about the doubling of his scrotal contents, but he did not mention it to me when we discussed the issues of getting an implant.

Thank you for the reply lost sheep, yeah that’s pretty much what the dr said however it is hard to imagine a small pump will have the weight to pull the scrotal skin back down, but he did not seem very confident with his own answer, the dr performs around 75 implants a year and seems to know the right answers to the many questions I had from this awesome site but he also did not say he has ever had a patient without testicles. I have had at least 5 surgeries after the vasectomy that ultimately lead to having both testicles removed. I hope he is correct and all goes well, I thought he might put an artificial testicle on one side to help pull the skin down but maybe not needed. Maybe I’m just second guessing with the surgery in a couple of days.

I think the OP is referring to prosthetic testicles rather than an IPP.

Thanks for the replies, He only uses Coloplast titan implants and I was just wonder if a fake testicle would keep the pump down in the scrotum better but I had my pre op appt this morning and he again said he thought I would be fine...... guess I’ll find out Tuesdsy

It will be interesting how fast I heal vs most guys with testicles, I’m a fast healer normally so this could be interesting as most of the things I read on here say the testicle pain is the most common pain that people experienced

Yes from what I read the titan is the way to go and this is the only thing my Surgeon uses

As far as pulling the scrotal skin down; I wonder how the condition/appearance of your scrotum is now? I have to imagine that it is drawn up quite a bit and adding a pump will pull (push would be a more descriptive word?) a scrotal bulge more than what you have now and a bit less than testicles would.

I don't think weight of either testicles or the pump is significant enough to pull down against the skin's natural elasticity plus the muscles that usually contract and relax to keep the testicles drawn up or lowered down in response to temperature changes. (The sperm being produced by testicles need to be kept a bit below body temperature, which is why we have external testes to begin with.) You probably know more about that drawing up and lowering down than I do, having had more to study in that area than I felt necessary for my own medical issues.

In any event, having scrotal sack hanging down/swinging back and forth, etc is largely a cosmetic issue except for two things. Sometimes the sack gets sat on or sweaty and needs to be adjusted. Sometimes a woman likes to play with it or feel it slapping against her during coitus. There having some weight might be a real advantage. :D

You definitely won't have to worry about squeezing the wrong bulb when pumping or deflating.

This is true as that will be the only thing in the sac, I really thought that there would be other guys in the same situation. I would think the recovery could be fairly quick as I do not have delicate testicles to deal with, I will find out soon enough with surgery being on the 8th of this month
