Vacuum pumping after implant

Ran across this article on outcomes of using VED after implant. Curious if your surgeons recommended pumping after implant. I’m taking a copy to my surgeon for feedback.

This seems to very from doctor to doctor like many other things. My surgeon was even a bit reluctant for me to use a VED pre surgery and said it would make no difference. Of course that may have changed in 3 years. There is on my AMS user DVD in the cycling instruction section a very brief statement that some doctors may recommend VED use. And a well know Coloplast preferred Atlanta doctor did tell me to use a VED when I had a tele visit with him for my problems.

I had severe pain when I tried VED use with cycling so I only tried it once. But I have read that other members have used it to speed up the gain of lost size. They reported the gains in a few months similar to the ones I had taking over a year with stretching using cycling only. I would always recommend following your doctors instructions and the after fully healed and cut loose you can research and decide if you want to either use VED or stretch cycling.
