First Post Op Doctor visit?

Postby October26 » Mon Nov 09, 2020 8:34 pm

Please tell me what happened at your first post-op visit with your doctor or nurse? Was anyone told it was not possible to inflate (more) or deflate? I am two weeks out and have a nurse visit in one week. What should I expect if my surgical scar is healing well and I can feel the round part of the pump pretty well. I can’t feel the flat, deflate part very well, at this point. I know one week will make a big difference. Thanks!

Saw my doctor on day 15 (2 week post-op) and I had already broken his rules and partially inflated and deflated at day-7, so I played dumb and let him show me where the pump was, how to pump it up, how to deflate it and then he asked me to do it to show whether I could... Of course I inflated and deflated it like a pro and he said it looked like I got the basics pretty well. :D
