You are in good hands with Dr Cris Love. Just let him lead the way and you will be happy. Also with a skilled surgeon everything is not destroyed. The implant is placed between the wall of the tunica and ( forgot the name) the erection material. A few guys have the implant a still the natural partial filling with blood. That is winning the trifecta.

I believe the term you're looking for is the spongy tissue or erectile tissues of the corpus cavernosum. Some doctors perform a "tissue sparing" procedure where they only dilate through the tissue rather than ramming the tool in repeatedly to destroy it. Even I get some significant tumescence when aroused (and it is VERY real) with my implant although my doctor discounts my comments, stating that it's impossible because he totally destroyed my erectile tissues. ("Don't you believe it, doctor!")

Hi Megamind,
I am a few months behind you on this journey. So far as I can tell Dr Love is THE man in this field in Australia. Did you find anyone else in your investigations? All the best. Obviously I will have an exceptionally keen interest in how you get on!

I'm sure Chris Love is very capable. You may care also to consider Justin Chee here in Melbourne. Did mine in May '16 following prostatectomy; still going strong. Implants are his main (if not his only) thing.
