As such, your body might try to attack it or wall it off (encapsulate) with scar tissue. The body has a remarkable self protection capabilities.

To that point, I get regular soreness where the reservoir tube's quick-connect runs across the side of my penis, under the skin. The reason for the soreness is that it runs alongside the cylinder tube where it exits the corpora and I get repeated adhesions and releases, each time it releases I get an inflammatory response (soreness) due to being ripped away from the body part it was attached to. It seems the silicone tubing prevents the body from growing to it but the little plastic connection device apparently isn't made out of the same material and thus it has issues with adhesions.

Wow, what a stroke of bad luck. Your theory does make sense. I hope that scar tissue doesn't accumulate in that spot.
Many years ago my wife had to endure several abdominal surgeries. Basically several spots of her intestines adhered together. Caused a lot of trouble. Finally had sugery to free up the adhesions. Doctor put some type of tissue or paste where it had been adhered. Then, of all things. She complained that when she rolled over in bed that it felt like her guts were going to slide out onto the bed. That new sensation gradually went away.
I wish you good luck.
