Custom made constriction rings

Postby frwmw1 » Fri Oct 09, 2020 12:03 am

I swear, I'm going to start making my own construction rings.

The market for construction rings is terrible. They are expensive and ill-conceived.
They look ugly too.

For implants and soft-glans, it seems to me what would really be needed is a silicon ring that slightly compresses on the Spongy Urethra, however not tight enough to constrict ejaculation.
Also it should avoid constricting the superficial dorsal vein, as it can thrombose.
45yo, venous leak. Pills increased tinnitus (very rare). Using bimix+atropine, 0.2 of:
Atropine Sulfate: 52MCG/ML, Phentolamine MES: 0.9MG/ML, Papaverine HCL: 26MG/ML

They have such rings already. They have a couple of "knobs", bumps or thickened parts of the ring so that the appropriate veins are compressed more than the rest of the penis' circumference.

Positioning the knobs is critical.

Towards that end, a way to fasten and release the ring is needed. There have been some attempts, velcro, buckles etc. I guess they have either been too expensive to produce, too tricky to use or to chancy to be reliable.

Check out the "Giddy device", which is shaped like a horseshoe. The idea is that it will (along with a tension band that you attach to the "legs") give you pressure along the sides of your penis instead of all the way around like your standard ring would. Web site is "GetmeGiddy" They have a nicely explanatory video narrated by a pleasant female voice and decent illustrations. Had I known about this before my implant, I might have tried it (or, at their price point, tried making one myself).

Good luck and keep us posted.

Posting this in the VED sub-forum might see a more interested audience.

I'd buy that!

I'm currently using a Vacurect VED, and the ring is a simple circle with a round opening, so there is NO match to your anatomy. The constriction works well, but since it compresses everything including the urethra, it is very difficult to have a normal ejaculation with it.

The good thing about the Vacurect is that the constriction ring goes on the opening of the Vacurect, and you are pulled into the constriction ring as you pump it. There is no SNAP of sliding the ring onto yourself since you're already in the ring.

I've seen Osbon rings that match your anatomy and are shaped to the urethra so they don't compress it, but I don't think they would fit on to the Vacurect like it's own rings do. I'd have to put that Osbon ring on first, and then use the VED and hope that the Osbon ring would fit inside it.
