More questions....

Postby sonnyjim » Thu Oct 08, 2020 8:54 am

Hey guys, I recently had implant surgery and haven't been activated yet but I have some questions that hopefully someone can answer.

1) How do you know when you are "fully inflated"?
2) Is it possible to inflate so much that you could cause damage?
3) If you have a curve when inflated is it possible for this to straighten out?
4) Does the pump soften over time? Does it get easier?

Thank you.

Hey man!

I’ll try to answer your questions based on my implant experiences. I was implanted January 9, 2020. Surgery went very well no pain had wait six weeks before I was cleared for sex.

When I pump up I can feel the inflation very easily. When you say fully inflated for me it gets very uncomfortable and gets to a point where I will stop.

How I know it’s completely inflated Is because my erection is so hard I could drive a ten penny nail with it!

Could you inflate so much you could cause damage? I think before you reach that point it would get so painful could had to stop pumping!

If you have curve before implant would it straighten out?
I had a slight curvature to the left and I ask my surgeon before surgery and he said yes with time it will straighten out. My curvature is almost gone after 9 months

Does pump soften over time and does It get easier?
Yes! Mine has softened considerably after nine months. Its much easier to pump up now than when I first started

My AMS 700 LGX implant

Your implant will soften somewhat in time but it will depend on your usage. Do you pump it up only once a week or 8-10 times a week?

You can pump up and deflate as much as you want with no problems. You should do this because it will make things easier and better. I inflate my implant everytime I can and when I think about it! You don’t need to have sex to inflate implant. Use it and it will make things better! Mine was very hard to pump up at first but with usage pump got more flexible.

Feel free to ask any questions you would like also would be happy to talk by phone if you are interested.

Hey man, thanks for the reply I appreciate it.

In response to your question, I've only pumped it up twice at my follow up appointment but I'm a bit disappointed with two things, 1. loss of length and girth 2. soft glans

I'm guessing that in time, I will gain a little bit of length and girth back (hopefully) but the soft glans, I'm not so sure.

I have the same implant as you and it didn't seem very girthy or rigid the first time I pumped it up. I now have a small, pencil dick

Damn... :(

Sonnyjim, keep in mind that your glans will require excitement/arousal before it engorges. The fact that you can get an erection now without arousal tends to make some of us (myself especially) more receptive and horny from a mental standpoint even though our body/mind isn't aroused to the point of erection (or glans engorgement).

If you get aroused, I bet your glans will engorge just fine if it did before. My entire spongiosum (urethral ridge) engorges along with my glans when I'm seriously aroused but it's not engorged every time I have or want to have sex. Pumping the implant alone won't do it. Your mind and body have to be in sync with that desire to get the glans and spongiosum to engorge. Heck, my corpora even engorge to a degree which is in direct conflict with what my surgeon told me at my first followup ("I totally destroyed your erectile tissues so you cannot get a natural erection of any sort.") I beg to differ - not an erection in any sense but definitely something I can feel and adds to my girth.

Hopefully you're right and it's because I'm not aroused, I mean it has only been two weeks and I'm not exactly in the mood right now. If worst comes to the worst I would consider using a cock ring but hope I don't need to.

I have lost a noticeable amount of length and girth too, will I gain that back? I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad at the moment.

For length and girth you need three important ingredients:

Patience
Cycling
Time

Thank you Sir 8-)

I have one last question as well if you don't mind. Apparently I'm supposed to cycle 2x a day? But for how long? I wasn't really given any clear instructions on that.

That varies as much as the doctor. You might want to ask the doctor to be safe but my doctor had me on a 2x daily (or BID) schedule and it was for 10 minutes at a time. Others have been told to cycle for longer times so that's why I said try to consult with the original surgeon for clarification.

Something I forgot to say with my first post is that I use a VED everyday on my implanted cock. I do this for blood flood and am just hoping in time it will help improve everything. I cleared it with my surgeon before I started pumping. Best of luck to you.

Not sure I'd be brave enough to use a VED or anything like that but I have heard of a lot of people doing it. Not sure I'd do it myself though, if I break this thing god knows how long I'd be waiting for it it to be replaced.

I am just starting to cycle this week so I'm only pumping up once a day and leaving it for 45 minutes each time. Next week or the week after I will increase this to 2x a day. Hopefully the pain will be less then...

Another thing I am wondering is what is the difference in size flaccid vs erect for people implanted with AMS 700 LGX's mainly? My size doesn't increase that much when I am fully inflated.
