Getting an implant soon, but I have lost a lot of sensitivity.

Getting an implant soon, but I have lost a lot of sensitivity.

What can I do to regain it pre implant? I’m using a ved everyday but is there anything else I can do? I’m neverous about getting implanted and still not having much sensitivity.

Also, does anyone know what would cause a loss of sensitivity? Like what mechanisms in the body cause me to lose sensitivity

What happened your life to cause the loss of sensitivity? I had a radical prostatectomy and the butcher that worked on me took all my nerves. No blood flow to engorge anything. I am slowly getting used to what I have left. Took a long time to even have an orgasm. With out engorgment there is not much sensitivity. Injections gave a nice engorgment and better sensitivity, but I was allergic to it. Have you tried trimix injections?

Maybe excess vacuum for too long could have caused loss of sensitivity? You haven't been pumping up the VED until you hurt and leaving it that way for more than 30 minutes at a time, have you?

About 4 years ago I foolishly masturbated using a construction ring of sorts for extended periods of time without using proper breaks, to the point of my penis becoming cold and having a tingling sensation one time. This likely started my ED. However, up until about 6 months ago, my penis was still sensitive enough that sec still felt very good. My gf and I we’re having sex, she was on top, and I experienced a bending injury. I don’t think it was a fracture, at least not a significant one, because there was no bruising. Ever since this day however, my penis is an inch shorter, i don’t get erections at all unless truing very hard, And even then, they are not suitable at all for penetrative sex. All of this sucks but the biggest concern is that my penis is far less sensitive. I’m curious what might have happened, physiologically, when I bent it? And is there anything I can do about it now?

Hopefully you are just experiencing numbness of the nerves due to the trauma. It was after all, only six months ago. Have you seen a urologist for the injury and sensitivity loss? I think they have tests they can do to test nerve conductivity (I know they can do them on other body parts, namely electromyography or EMG which tests nerve conductivity by sending small electrical impulses through a limb from one needle electrode to another and then reading the results. If you have good conductivity, it may be blood-flow.

I'm a layman, not a doctor so I would highly advise you to consult a specialist and try to get to the bottom of the issues. It never hurts to go into the doctor's office with questions and suggestions though, even if the doctor explains away or dismisses your suggestions, you at least are playing an active role in your recovery.

In your case, I would be looking into external nerve attachment procedures and not an implant. Nothing beats a blood filled dick.
