More recent ones than that. And I have had PM contact with a few of them.

I've seen some also. But honestly, I read a lot of older posts. So I can't vouch for how recent the high pump problem was.
Not taking sides on this. But I seem to remember that some members thought that he was using the wrong implant kit. One that had shorter tubing. Now IF that is true. There is a chance that the Coloplast rep was not bringing the correct supplies to the sugery. Again, IF that was the case, he should of set the rep straight on what toys to bring to the party. Hey, I like how that sounds.
I don't know if any of the next issues concerned Kramer or not. But it seems like there has been a small surge in guys where the pump settles in turned so that is awkward to grasp. Anybody else notice this?

HardRon wrote:Hi all. I don't know who started the assumption that a Titan cannot expand. It definitely can. My initial measurement after surgery was 5.75 in, in length. Now after 2.5 years post op I am 7.5 to 7.75 inches in length bone pressed.. Girth also expanded from 5.25in mid shaft , 6in base,, to 5.75in mid shaft , 6.5in base.
I was a grower not a shower so this maybe a reason for my results. I did make it clear to Dr. Kramer that my wife loved my girth. Therefore he recommended the titan.
There is a you tube clip by a Dr Eid who said a Titan folds like an accordion. Therefore what you see deflated is not what you get FULLY INFLATED.
I would go so far as to say if you are not pumping with both hands you are not reaching your full potential. My pump now goes flat when fully inflated so I am now maxed out?
However I can only hold it for an hour without pain so maybe more length to come?
As soon as I learn how ,I will post pictures of my results. From first week to two years post opp.
I only have 22cm and 3cm rte so I am larger than I should be.
I think.

I wonder if you could speculate a little for me based on your experience. Today I received a 22 cm Titan, 12.5 cm distal with 1.5 RTE each side. What do you think that will turn out to be in inches? The doctor said girth was really good. Thanks!

"Distal" means "OUTSIDE" the body. If you got 12.5 distal, you got 12.5 cm outside the body. If you got 1.5cm on top of a 22cm implant, you got 23.5cm total length with 12.5 cm distal leaving 11cm proximal (internal crus).

That's almost 1:1 distal to proximal. The numbers he gave may have been inaccurate (the "Distal" measurement, that is). What this would mean is you have a 4.92" (plus ~0.5" for glans) penile length and a 4.33" crus or internal depth/length.

Where did I call anyone a narcissist? You must be entirely aware that actually did not happen. Read what I wrote.

I expressed a personally-held worldview, carefully undirected at any specific person. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don't know the first fucking thing about Kramer and don't care. I don't have a dog in that fight. Actually went out of my way to leave what I said in the realm of entirely general rhetorical thoughts. But apparently touched a nerve regardless. I don't get that.

It was inferred by another FT member in this thread that Dr. Eid's success rate is partly due to his not using RTEs. I strongly considered having Dr. Eid do my implantation but opted for a local, lower volume surgeon (and I'm ecstatic about the results!) So definitely nothing against Dr. Eid but it should be clarified that from time to time he does insert RTEs, as many proud owners of a Titan can attest.
Implanted 5/6/20 by Dr. Jesse Mills at UCLA; AMS 700 LGX 18 cm w/2 cm RTEs. I'm 73 & fit but had ED for 20 years. Pills/injections ultimately failed, including 3 ER trips for Priapism; Shockwave & embryonic stem cell therapies didn't help either.

"Outside the body" might be confusing. All of it is inside the body, just some (the distal) is further from the center of the body than the proximal. I think the question refers to the measurement from the incision. Distal from the incision towards the tip of the penis (out to the end of the tunica albuginea) and proximal from the incision to the deepest part of the crus available to the rear tip of the implant.

Distal refers to sites located away from a specific area, most often the center of the body. In medicine, it refers to parts of the body further away from the center. For example, the hand is distal to the shoulder. The thumb is distal to the wrist. Distal is the opposite of proximal.

To clarify my previous comment, "Distal" means "OUTSIDE" the abdomen (inside the penile member).

Specifically DISTAL is from the PUBIC BONE and FAT PAD forward. PROXIMAL is from the PUBIC BONE and FAT PAD inward.

Specifically DISTAL is from the PUBIC BONE and FAT PAD forward. PROXIMAL is from the PUBIC BONE and FAT PAD inward.

Further clarification: When referring to the distal measurement, it is the measurement the surgeon makes from the incision outward to the tip of the tunica albuginea. The proximal measurement is the measurement the surgeon makes from the incision into the base of the pelvic crus. The pubic bone nor fat pad have no role in this measurement that I know.

The surgeon adds the two measurements together to determine the length of implant to use.

Anyone, please correct me if I am wrong.

Stephen, you weren't the one making a backdoor slur. But your last paragraph in the comment before this one was about 60 words that almost, sort of, pretty much, implied that he's a narcissist. Kind of like the "you might be a redneck" riffs. I don't have a "nerve" for Dr. K. I just said I didn't have any complaints about him and I thought his manner and his techniques met my expectations and my needs.
