Is anyone's AMS LGX getting too soft over time?

Postby OregonStrong » Sun Sep 13, 2020 2:22 pm

I just had mine put in back in June, have had sex a few times now, pump the thing up as hard as I can til the bulb won't deflate, even wait a few minutes and get another pump or two, but have noticed there's still too much flexibility in it when trying to have sex. It was much more firm a month ago than now. I don't think it's leaking. Now granted, I'm gay and it's anal sex, which requires more force I would imagine than vaginal sex (I wouldn't know, never tried that), but it's reminding me of the same problems I had with penetration before the implant. Just wants to buckle somewhat. I don't have great length as it is, I'm under 6" now, having lost a little from pre-implant, so any buckling makes it difficult and almost not worth the trouble. Even deflated I notice the cylinders are softer than they were a month or so ago, which I figured occurs with all the implants, but if it gets even more flexible when inflated, that's going to suck. Makes me wish I had gone for the CX sometimes, but I was hoping to get length back with the LGX.

We had to buy better lube for anal… I don’t know a better way to describe it then to say there’s definitely more flex then there should be even with a much more expensive lube… we hired a Sex coach when I had erectile dysfunction to kind of help us with some ideas to keep that part of our relationship alive “we I met after I was diagnosed with ED“… After I got my implant, we discussed this issue with her… She recommended a butt plug for a couple minutes… In the meantime, perform some oral. Give that a shot… Hope you get to have some fun!

And yes, definitely a lot more force required for anal…

I don't know, the first time I tried it with my friend it went very well and almost effortlessly. He was a bit out of practice so I has to dilate him a little with my fingers first but I slipped right in with very little resistance.

I have had my lgx since march and pump up daily for use of some kind. If I fully pump it right now I cannot press it down low enough for rear entry sex. We have to use about 75 percent up for that option. I think one issue I have is not as much of my implant is inside so not as bendy. The non inflatable parts and rtes are stiff.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.
