9 days Post Op

Gentleman,

I appreciate your voyages. Mine started on 9.4.20, so today is my 9th day

At this point, if I had to do it all over again, I can't honestly say that I would. I have read alot of posts here and understand the whole patience thing but OMG. Background: 65, viagra stopped working about 5 years ago. Was about 4.5-5.5 preop. Implanted with AMS LGX. Doc did infrapubic. This is where my questions come in:
1.) Sent home with AMS yellow sheet. It said left Proximal 11cm, Left Distal 11cm. Right Proximal 11cm, Right Distal 11cm. Left Rear tip extenders, 4cm. Right rear tip extender 4cm. There is a peel off sticker that says "AMS 700 LGX, MS Pump, IZ, 18cm x 12 mm. Does this mean I was implanted with 18cm?
2.) Swelling has come down some. Been icing everyday. It almost feels like the penis itself is swollen. There is no way to measure it now. Still very swollen and tender. I would guess 3.5 - 4 inches but it is meaty and puffy. Its inflated and feels hard. The ring just below the glands looks to be very swollen and again puffy. So if the answer to number 1 above is 18cm or 7 inches and I am looking at maybe 4 inches now, where is the other 3 inches? Or is that potential growth?
3) the scrotum. This is possibly the biggest issue right now. I felt like I had elephant balls. The sac was HUGE, heavy and very full. The entire thing is purple and black. It IS getting smaller however. It is now about the normal size, but still very very heavy, full and extremely sensitive.. Trying to LIGHTLY feel around for the pump. Doc told me prior to surgery that I need to be able to PULL the pump down. Forget about that. I read about using aspercreme, maybe that will help. Keep in mind, there is no incision in the scrotum as this was done infrapubic. Can I expect this to be like this for 2 weeks? 3 weeks? I'm walking like a cowboy now. I have been doing the double underwear thing and packing it with ice. Doc said I could do showers just no baths yet. The shower actually feels good.
4) The fat pad, right behind the incision, is still somewhat swollen, but it feels hard as well? This isnt where the reservoir is is it?
5) Just within the last 1-2 days, I occasionally get the electric zinger shock in the head of the penis. It only lasts a second but I definatly feel it.

Like I said, I have researched alot here and suspect that patience will be my future. Going through this to have a 7 inch dick is one thing. Going through this to have 3-4 inch hard on, meh, not so much.

Thanks

As far as #1 is concerned. Looks right to me. You have a total of 22cm. Your implant is 18cm plus the RTE's. I forget at the moment how long RTE's are. But if they are 1cm then everything adds up to 22cm.
It is common for the penis to retract in responce to the trauma of surgery. That should explain your temporary loss of length. You just need more time to heal.
Btw, your 11cm measurement should put you around 5", not 7".

Thanks GT, I'll never get the math.
Trauma to the penis is a nice way of saying baseball bat to the groin.
Hopefully, I'll be one of those guys that says at some point, 'best thing I ever did". Just not seeing it in the immediate future

Just got back from CVS with the aspercreme. But reading the directions, it says not to use on swollen skin. There goes that option.

I think you have some wrong expectations. The implant won't get you from 5 inches to 7. Almost half of your implant is inside your body. I would wait for it to head and cycle the implant as soon as you are comfortable.

Doc recommended double underwear to be able to put ice bags in between so it doesnt touch the skin.

Thought I turned the corner yesterday on day 10. It actually looked like a regular penis, not a chewed up piece of swollen meat. Felt good, like my regular size but hard. Okay, maybe I touched it a little too much. And tried to tug on the pump. Big mistake. Someone said why do they have such sharp corners on that damn thing? Good question. Today, day 11 post op was not good. Back to swollen again. Do you guys remember bouncing back and forth between out of the woods and back in the woods?

It's normal to be back and forth. Some days are good, others not so good. As you heal, it's more and more good days. If you notice more and more bad days, that's when you want to get in touch with the doc.

And I think it was me talking about the sharp corners...I know they're trying to make it easy to find the button, but whew, what a rude neighbor that pump is!
