Five months later in 18 that had to replace the pump. Insurance paid for both surgeries.

Did they ever explain the cause? Did you use the same Urologist?

Well the one touch pump failed in 2017 which had been implanted in 2013. He replaced everything. Then 5 months later the connector that connects tubes together failed. He repaired the connection. I currently have another failure. Not sure what’s messed up this time but the doctor is doing another complete replacement the 24th of September
I use the same doctor each time.

When the implants work they are great, it’s like everything else, you get what you pay for

This was in 2015 post-op, the more I inflated it the further to the right it would point. Sex was impossible due to loss of length and discomfort to my wife.

PCHelp,
Yes I have same issues with improper installation and non usable implant because of pain.
I can not inflate it because my right RTE is poking me thru pubic fat pad at penile base and causing me lots of pain. Did not use implant for sex since mid of April.
I am battling with Aetna for about 3 months and they don't want to cover removal and replacement (CPT code 54410). They telling me it is exclusion on my insurance and so its not covered.
Aetna covered my first implant in September 2018.
So far, I don't have a solution for my problem.

Isn’t this crazy?! What did the URO say about the improper installation?
