T Minus 24 Hours

Postby cutcliffe » Mon Sep 07, 2020 7:36 am

Well it’s almost here. Tomorrow morning I get an implant. Long long frustrating journey brought me here. Anticipation and fear and excitement wrapped up into one psychotic moment. Ha

That was my thought a week ago. I was pretty goofy with anticipation. Hopefully you have someone to help with transportation and getting the pain meds and antibiotic meds. I left the hospital with a catheter/bag and drain. The catheter was the most uncomfortable part and got it removed the following morning along with the drain. They wanted me to keep track of how much fluid was being drained to make sure everything was normal. Once they removed the catheter they wanted to make sure I could void my bladder so the filled me up with sterile water somehow and made me pee into a graduated vessel. It felt like I was peeing sand. Plus it looked like cranberry juice. It's all better from there. I had minimal bruising and no significant swelling. One suggestion I saw was to use frozen dry beans as an ice pack as they don't clump up. I ordered a few jock jock straps from Amazon but I wish I had ordered quite a few more(I'm getting more today)as they wanted to keep my prize pointed up. I experienced constipation the 1st few days. After day 2 and 3 I ate lots of prunes but still had to force out the clog, no pain. A week later I'm at the realization that I have a high performance pecker and couldn't be more proud. Congratulations and best wishes. :D

Cut here. ITS DONE !!!!!! Surgery around 8AM and I am out the door at 11:30 AM. Standing a typing now. This may be a different approach but my Dr only does AMS because of flaccid look etc. In pre op chat I asked him this morning if he is using a CX or LGX and he said he will make a game time decision based on facts and circumstances. I forgot to ask in post chat but seeing him tomorrow. So I went to the card they give you. I got CX 21cm. He did tell me he prefers going CX over 18cm but the there are other issues. I have not read this approach on FT. So back to the ice. I will be back with more. Huge mental burden already being lifted. Thanks, Cut

Congratulations. I'm happy for you. Also a little jealous. My surgery isn't until the middle of next month. Best of luck.

My doc likes to go with Titan for the stability and hardness over a certain length, so that makes sense. The CX is the more structurally strong of the AMS devices, so it makes sense your doc would go with that one. At least from my immediate experience with the titan, I might have preferred the AMS CX (the titan flaccid is really stiff to start with), but we'll see once I'm cleared to actually use the damn thing.

Hope your recovery goes well! If you're already up and typing things, you're probably in pretty damn good shape!

Take care, and keep sharing!

Congratulations Cut!

Be prepared for some discomfort the 1st week ... after that - everything should get better very quickly.

I like a Dr. who tailors his choice of implant to the patient ... hopefully the CX is exactly the right device for you.

Follow your Dr's orders to the letter ... don't do anything to cause an infection. Once you get past the 2 week mark, you should be home free.

Let us know how you are doing, and if we can offer any advice or assistance. Hang in there, the worst part is behind you. It is all SO worth it ...

Thank you for the well wishes.
Okay I just returned from the Dr where the removed the drain. No problem there. Made it through the night with Tylenol and Ibuprofen. A bit uncomfortable and didn't sleep much but this drain gone maybe tonight will be better. Trying to stay off the strong pain killer.

So question: He put in CX because it stronger and he had a choice of using the 21 CX with one RTE or the 18 lgx with 4 RTEs. His choice give me better rigidity per him. Not sure why he didn't consider LGX 21 but he did mention earlier he doesn't like going longer than 18 with the lgx. Does this make sense??

Second question. My pre surgery erection length to the bone has 7.25 hard (7 sometimes). The 22cm length he measured was 8 crus and 14 cm the rest. Does that math make sense to you experts??? Will I be back to 7 ish when said and done???

Feel great today. Very little swelling. Icing some but feel good. Got green light to walk today from Dr so gonna see how that goes without pushing it.

Thanks all
Cut

Doctors don't like the softness of the LGX. So you got the better deal. 1 cm rte will stick upward. 4 cm rtes will point slightly downward when fully inflated. The math seldom works out. I am 18 plus 3 and made 7 inches using vacuum therapy. But I have an LGX. Without daily therapy I'm down to 6.25 to 6.5. It may take you 8 or 9 months of daily cycling to reach your longest length. Like me you may shrink when you stop. Honestly, I don't need 7 to be perfectly satisfied. ED shrank me down to a little over 5 and as long as it was hard I was happy. Back to you, add about an inch for your glans and you should end up with 6.25 to 6.5 just like me.
