I hope you are only panicking over making sure you don't oversleep. Panicking about the surgery should be ALL BEHIND YOU now.

Nothing dispels fear like knowledge. I encourage you to take some time this weekend to read through a couple years of past posts. You will gain a HUGE amount of knowledge (and encouragement) over a very short amount of time. When I first found FrankTalk, I spend a couple weekends just looking at thread titles and reading ones that piqued my interest. It was time well spent.

Deep Breath. pause. exhale. repeat as needed. Remember what brought you to this decision.

That and a Bottle of Jack Daniels will get you through. 8-)

Keep us in the loop with a log of your experience.

Best luck and outcome to you.

Congratulations! Just went through the same, insurance didn't finally confirm until less than a week before my appointment. You get that "OMG this is really happening" energy real fast.

Best wishes on the surgery and recovery. I'm sure you'll do great!

I don’t know. Leaning toward lgx. This whole thing is a mental screw job. Was ok till today and starting to stress. Cut

Which doctor did you decide to go with? Local or have to travel, and outpatient or over night stay?

Insurance approval came 4 days before my surgery date. From first consultation to surgery was less than 6 weeks & would have been quicker except for a delay with my primary faxing over his clearance.
