8/25 implant.. cylinders not into glands.. WORRIED

Postby wally7171 » Wed Sep 02, 2020 9:57 pm

Hi all

I had implant done on 8/25...colopast 20cm w/2cm extenders. Was performed by colopast preferred doctor who has done thousands. I am worried though as he told my wife he could not get cylinders in my glands. I can feel both cylinders which are about at bottom of my head. The operating room report says the same. I'm am worried that I'm going to end up with floppy head or something else.....any thoughts kinda of freaking out.

So, he knows he did it wrong, why didn’t he figure it out when he had you open?!

Dr. Says I had scar tissue that prevented placement into glands

yeah, scar tissue is troublesome. If he could not dig it out of the way, just embedding the tips as far into it as possible is apparently the best solution. The good news is that the scar tissue tends not to be very floppy.

Too bad the measuring tool cannot be used as a reamer. But that might be more dangerous than the potential benefit justifies.

Have you talked to him about the pros and cons of different approaches to handling your glans if it winds up more floppy than acceptable?
