Out with the old in with the new.....

Postby Ronn1708 » Mon Aug 31, 2020 9:12 pm

Well was able to get my doctors visit today instead of having to wait 7 weeks. The doctor said he was going to completely replace everything but would leave the old reservoir in place. I currently have a Titan. This will be my 4th surgery since 2013. He ask today if I wanted to keep using the Titan or go with an AMS product. I've read on here about the two and personal only had the Titan. Has anyone had one and then had the other?? Which one you liked the best? I am currently using the older type pump. Doctor said he would use the pump I wanted. I had the one touch the first time and liked it and then he changed to this type. He likes the older type better and said it was easier to pump up but he said he would do whichever I wanted....Decisions decisions... Any advise would be appreciated.
I am waiting now for the date to be set for my surgery. His assistant was really nice too and said he would be in the surgery room also if the surgery took place in September. I couldn't ask to be treated any nicer by these two professionals!! Awesome individuals!! I dread the surgery a little but they have always took great care of me. The doctor did say that he no longer kept patients overnight in the hospital The wife was happy to get that news because she hates hospitals. He said I would have to remove the catheter the following day. Not sure about how that will go...
Have contemplated getting circumcised too but guess i will hold up on that. I have spoke to a couple guys who had that procedure and they all said they wished they had kept the foreskin. Thanks in advance for sharing you thoughts and all the support offered here!!

SW0110 has 104 posts, many of which refer to his experience and comparing the two devices. Here is just one of the many threads and the one I think MIGHT be MK1965's reference.

Love my AMS and inflated now as I type. Have had since 16 and never a problem. Inflate most everyday to either play or masturbte to try to keep cancer at bay. I would stay with AMS if ever again

Implanted March 2nd by Dr. Kramer with AMS/LGX. Had a problem lower left (scar tissue) and he placed a larger (thicker) implant as you can here on the YouTube video. Got all back, ED over 10 years before Implant.

I'm awaiting his reply to the question about "16" as well. I read it as the age he got his implant at first and then thought, "No, he must mean 2016." Maybe he means, "erections since 16".
