After reading some comments, I feel these guys have just plain gone too far. If you read what has been written, the personal attacks- not just a couple, but repeated, nasty ones. I have since long ago stopped to get surprised.
But I guess I will never learn to keep my mouth totally shut.
Seriously, what are you talking about?
Plenty of doctors have been criticized (and praised) here.
Problem this time is that it was a guy who many here admire and like.
Or actually, how many real persons that admire him is up for debate, considering his well known history of running fake accounts on here to praise himself.

If one of the famous doctors gets fired (or quits suddenly with no new job) and is involved in a rape trial - it is quite natural it gets discussed here. And when something is discussed, opinions will be like your fat butt cheeks - divided. Accept it.

Take care Dirtman, this place wouldn't be the same without you.

There is no such person as a perfect surgeon. If there was, then he/she wouldn't need malpractice insurance. Shit goes wrong all the time.
I think I posted about a guy that I know. Went in for a shoulder repair. At some point either during or after his surgery. The staff noticed that his Covid test came back positive & something called sugar clamps were used that were out of date. Back in he goes & they replaced these clamps. Then to recover quarantined from his family in his bedroom for 15 days.
We have had lots of discussions about finding a good surgeon. Of course there is a quick outcry of a very small list of names. I'm ok with that. But I've maintained that there are a lot of great surgeons out there that are just plugging along day to day getting good results.
The way I understand how FT is supposed to work. You can talk about your experience with a surgeon. That is all first hand info. The farther that you stray from that, the farther out of bounds that you're getting.
Honestly, I would be a bit surprised if a few mistakes for the top guys don't show up. What does seem out of the ordinary is how much anger & hate can show up in some of those cases. Merely as a suggestion to those that are either hate filled or over exuberant . Some guys will tune out those levels of discussions. A steady well worded story makes a bigger impact in my opinion.
Just in case anyone is interested. Yes, my family have had to deal with a couple of malpractice instances over the years. It wasn't fun. But one of the first things a good attorney will do is to encourage you to calm down & work on a resolution.
Thanks for taking the time to read my long post.

Well I actually do understand all the threads and posts on this. What I do not understand is why they are still on this Board. Let me explain why. The previous Moderator DaveKell had a very good thread on when a doctors name can be used on this board. I have searched and cannot find it though. Paul's post on this thread really sums it up. Promoting or defaming a doctor on the board is not allowed. Really wish I could find DaveKell's thread as it my rememberer is not the best. What I remember from that post is that it has something to do with tax status and the review for tax status and what is considered advertising. I don't remember all the specific's of what is permitted or not. I do remember that you can post your experience with a doctor. Good or bad. But that using the doctors name in the thread title was extremely limited or almost prohibited. Something like you can post Implanted 6/12/20 and doing well or having problems then in the body you can state information and doctors name. Or maybe better put your doctors info in your signature and refer to as my doctor said. I have done that in the past. All of this was the case as long as I have been on this board even when I was on many years ago under a different user name. I took a long break and came back. But that thread when DaveKell was moderator gave me a clearer picture of things. If any one can find it I think it would be a great help to everyone on this board.

I am willing to talk to anyone if folks have any questions on this. I have my experience with this doctor supported with e-mails and contact with other members both good and bad. And I can prove I had implant surgery with him. So just drop me a PM. I'd be happy to talk about it. Both the good and bad and the ugly. :D

Did you get the inflatable implant? How does the cylinder diameter compare to the titan?

@Frank Talk Admin

I think this thread is bordering on grounds for Paul to take unilateral action with the DELETE key...
